Google Bad Review 1: I'm not quite sure what's happened to our lovely pub, that's stood the test of time, until now. Awful . Firstly, we waited an absolute age to be served for just drinks. Our starter took 45 mins to arrive, during which time the professional behaviour of
the bar staff was noticed, using expletives in ear shot of our table. We then waited nearly an hour for our mains. It was just not the good quality food we have been used to , poor and not worth the money. Absolutely gutted. How quickly new management can ruin , what has been an outstanding pub into an average pub grub menu.

Google Bad Review (2): We have come to the gate many times and have always had a lovely time and good food, today when we ordered the fish it was off and had an awful smell when I told the waitress she insisted that the chef had said it was fresh even though you could smell it was not fresh and definitely off, In the end I ordered a salad which was very nice, but I was very disappointed in the attitude of the waitress.
