Google Bad Review:  I wish I could give no star. Had braces fitted in and the doctor made my teeth uneven and she said would use filling to correct. Paid all upfront and had to change doctor as she didn’t know what she was doing. Lost my money and time.

Google Bad Review:  I had an appointment here a few years ago for a standard check up and to see their hygienist. From a technical standpoint, everything was good. The surgery is clean and the staff are efficient. What I feel should be highlighted was the overall pressure and fear tactics that some staff employed with me. Throughout my treatments I was given a worst case scenario of what would happen if I didn't take action. Granted, I'm not exactly a poster boy for dental care but I felt that certain staff were ramping up every single issue, such as wisdom teeth, overcrowding, replacement fillings etc. I know that it's a service I paid for but when I left with a list of potential treatments that I “should” be having done, I felt it was more out of salesmanship than patient care. During my visit, I felt pressured into paying for, let's face it, very expensive dental work that I couldn't afford. This was all backed up with catastrophising and it effectively scared me. The end result? I didn't return. I felt I was being sold to and I didn't appreciate it. I'd advise anyone to steer clear and find a local, private surgery who won't pressure you so much.

I felt very welcomed by the reception team very professional.
As soon as I had the check up with Dr Sarika Shah, the moment I sat down sadly I was spoken down on in a way I felt uncomfortable to actually go ahead with any treatment at their practice and immediately suggested I go see another practice? I asked questions which she refused to answer. I do believe there was an ego problem, she wasn’t happy I asked questions as if I was questioning her position, but it is her position to advise? Honestly I didn’t understand what I could have possibly done wrong but to be a dental patient with them. She was smirking for no reason throughout the whole appointment it was very uncomfortable and intimidating. I generally started to talk to her about testimonials with other patients I had seen and she turned around and said “worry about your own mouth” in a tone and looked away ignoring my question? Attitude problems. I just wanted to leave. I left the practice immediately. Once I left the room, she loudly said bye to me as if she was speaking to a friend on the street in an abrupt tone. I 100% believe this was a personal dig. Very odd & childish lady. I had high hopes due to the reviews. I insisted to still go ahead with all my treatments at the practice but she kept laughing. Kindly share the joke?

The reception team did apologise on the results of her poor behaviour and advised I should rebook with them again with another professional clinician they have on site as this usually happens with her? Unprofessionalism at its peak.
But this would be the last visit for me. I just wish I recorded this incident felt very discriminated, Sorry guys.

Google Bad Review:  I've been with E8 Dental care for some years now and have always received great dental care from the dentists there. But how the practice is run and how no discretion is exercised for things that happen out of a patient's control is what I have a massive issue with. Recently I came for a hygienist appointment, and unfortunately, I was 10 minutes late to my appointment due to travel issues. I called the surgery to explain why beforehand but no one answered. When I arrived at the dentist, I explained things to the receptionist who asked the hygienist if I could still be seen. I was told no, despite only being 10 minutes late and my appointment time being a 30-minute slot for my scale and polish.

Now I respect rules and regulations, but the lack of discretion with timings and cancellations at the dental surgery of recent is ridiculous. Things happen in life where delays or unforeseen circumstances can happen and the dental practice should allow a bit of room for that.

The £20 charge if you cancel a hygienist appointment within 48 hours is absurd as well. If this was 24 hours then fine, but 48 hours is excessive.

On top of that, I was told I would need to make a new appointment, pay another £65 for that new appointment, plus I was informed that I would be charged a £20 fee for the one for which I would not be seen for. I said my piece and walked out. And I will find a new dentist whilst I'm at it.

Oh and £23 for a check-up appointment, then an additional £65 for a separate scale and polish clean appointment with the hygienist is a borderline piss-take.

Google Bad Review:  The Practice Manager is called Nathalie. A few months I was in the middle of having a filling done when Nathalie barged into the room. I have never known this to happen before and it was unsettling ( and now that filling needs replacing incurring more cost) . She then snapped at me for not paying by cash since the card machine was not available that week. I left and came back 10 mins later to settle up in cash but again her attitude was sullen and defensive. I have seen her be abrupt with other patients and rolling her eyes when speaking on the phone.

I now need to have that filling replaced. The next available appointment is next year!

Google Bad Review:  very bad dental practice experience absolutely not to be recommended. at the level of dentists doctors and staff are good nothing to say. but it takes respect for people a couple of missed appointments were enough for important reasons … death of a parent and hospitalization.! just to make it clear. they were enough to ask for advance payments for the next sessions. I said that I have already made at least 10 sessions and all paid regularly. that's not how people are treated

Google Bad Review:  Slade dentist is all my dental nightmares. Megan Kibble the must heavy handed and micro aggressive condescending dentist ever.. I have been a patient for over 5 years . My fist two visits were with a male dentist who ripped out a broken tooth and left me in agony for weeks with a broken gum.. So not really wanting to sue i asked for a woman dentist who can be more gentle up close and personal in my mouth.
They sent me to Miss Kibble .at first she was fine . Then after a good few visits not sure why she changed .was it because im a NHS patient.. i ask myself. Not wanting to fix my teeth when i say anything she quotes prices at me .talks and ask me condescending questions while my mouth is wide open. Hits me with the end of her drill on a tooth that two days before had route canal treatment. When i jumped in pain she said do i want to stop . But hay that didn't stop her .the next visit 3 mounths later to fix the same tooth with a cap she tried that again .i stopped her in her tracks. I said any tooth she wacks with a metal instrument will hurt. ..
Well i really needed my cap fitted so i suffed in silence. I then went in 3 weeks ago for final pre for my cap. I had to have anesthetic injection.. well i was pulled so much by my mouth via my lips and cheeks that bruising and cuts to my lips took 8 days to go down and heel. Usally when anesthetic wears off i would normally have some pain in the tooth areas but my whole face inside and out ..was plain assault.
So after all that ordeal ive been silently going through because i have been to scared to say a word as bully will say if i don't like it go find another dentist. Which we all know is near impossible. I now have my NHS cap after 2 years of waiting and ive finally asked for another's woman dentist in the practice.. sorry this is so long but if I could rate a big fat 0….I Have regularly seen them turning away NHS patients at the door ..people in Plummeted needing help from the local corner dental practice.. wow
Well Thanks guys never seen my dental records before but now you lot put them out there for the world to see
Just because at last I got the courage to finally speak up about be treated less than human
Unprofessional where's your duty of care for your clients. No patient Dr confidentiality at all .. you were so hurt to here the Truth .but now you got tid of me .yes folks they kicked me out for speaking out .. Im was probably there last 1% of black femal NHS patients . By the way a few years back my own daughter was treated the same way by Miss M Kibble .but poir girl couldn't take her for too long and abruptly left after telling Miss Kibble about herself..so am I on my own in this NO i dont think so..and using all the long words you could conjure up to denie what i been suffering. Doesn't mean it didn't happen. UNPROFESSIONAL 100%
