Google Bad Review 1:  Avoid – Money first, animals second.

I’ve been using this vets for over 6+ years and what can I say ? Abysmal, unorganised, unprofessional and all about making money.

If you have to unfortunate luck of having to take your beloved pet to this establishment please make sure you ask for a break down or your costs as they love to add things on without asking your consent / allowing the customer to make an informed decision.

I took my two female kittens to be neutered the other day and was charged £230 in total for both cats which I thought was reasonable until my visit today (I had to take my cat back as she was being sick and wasn’t responding to the medicine) I was told my consultation would cost £35 but lucky me because I’m on the VIP package it would only cost me £31.50 that was until my partner questioned the price and they decided they would do a free post op check up (ever so generous)

When I attended the vets today the vet told me to stop using the medication they had prescribed for my cats and that she’d give her a painkiller injection which is fine and offered me 3 pouches of food to help settle my cats stomach. I had also asked for two new plastic collars as the ones they had provided were far too big for my kittens. Anyway, I go to pay for my medication and get hit with a larger than expected bill
£10 for the collars
£5 for 3 pouches of food
£15 for an injection
£20 for medication
Now, I don’t expect to get things for free and I understand vets are a business (the receptionist) made this very clear however, I think customers should be given the opportunity to make an informed decision and given the costs of things when the vet is giving them.

I explained with the cost of living increasing and people finding it harder to pay bills that people should be given the opportunity to make an informed decision and was told if I can’t afford it or I’m struggling then I should check out a charity vet …

Overall this place puts profits and money before pets and customer satisfaction.

Management are non existent and don’t like to hear any from of criticism and will always say they’ll contact you to resolve issues yet they never do.

If the high turn over of reception staff and vets doesn’t concern you the cost of any sort of treatment will! That’s when you’re lucky enough to be seen, they quite like cancelling appointments etc!

I Will be cancelling my VIP for my pets and looking at a more compassionate vet that puts pets not profit first.
