Google Bad Review (2):  What an absolutely disgusting company this is! We have been living in our flat for the best part of 3/4 months now. We have moved in to what appears to be a gorgeous, new build, 1 bed flat that we have found as time has gone on, was very cheaply and poorly made. As a result, we have had countless repairs that we have raised to EProperty and each and every single time, we are met with resistance, passive aggressiveness and threats to have to pay for our own repairs despite this not being outlined in our tenancy agreement. What's more, is that staff members, like Olivia (current) and Samantha (in the past) go as far as to condescend us by saying things such as “if you had a lightbulb that needed repairing, would you call us?” (to compare to a repair that isn't even alike) and “ohh the landlord will not be happy about this as this is yet again another charge for him.” These two statements were in relation to a bolted toilet seat that has come out of position which my partner and I have almost fell out of due to its instability and the second due to having our electric heater in the bedroom breaking in the middle of the winter time (despite this being an emergency and priority repair, can you imagine it took for us to threaten a complaint before actually getting the job done as we were told if the electrician believed it was a simple fix, we would need to be liable for the charge). Imagine having genuine repairs and being met with a lack of empathy and instead being made to feel incompetent despite the credibility of repairs needed. E Property are in the business of humiliating tenants. We were also passive aggressively told that “we must treat this like our home” as if to say we purposefully, go out of way to break things in here. Of course anyone with normal common sense would go out and try to fix it themselves first, however, our word seems to never be enough and we keep being threatened with charges if the contractor comes out and has an opinion that it could've “easily been fixable” by the tenant. In any case, anything is technically fixable by anyone given they have the skill. To a contractor, it could be an easy fix- to a tenant- perhaps, not as straight forward. This is a qualitative measure as opposed to a quantitative one. What's worse was when we requested to speak to someone more senior to raise our most recent repair and concerns around their service, Olivia refused to find a way to arrange a conversation with a manager for a time that best suited us as we were both at work at the time. You would think after all the negative interaction we've had that it EProperty would find a way to alleviate the frustrations of the tenants- but no. It is insufferable the horrific and disgusting service we have received from everyone at this place. As a final point, if it were the case that they truly had a leg to stand on they would tell us that categorically as tenants it is our responsibility to see to these repairs but it seems that they can't do so because they too know this is not the case, instead they love to keep repairs in limbo. All of this mess for a toilet seat! It seems the only way to get a repair done is to exasperate tenants, threaten complaints and speak to senior leaders. An absolute disgrace. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!
