still paid £25 and went next door to get the best cut I was dreaming about…. paid £22 🙂

Google Bad Review (2): I went to this place for several months and was usually happy with the result…until one day I walked in and asked for the usual – short around the sides, a bit longer on top, etc – and at the very beginning the guy slipped a little with the clipper and must have cut off too much (I heard him go ‘oops' or something like that)…At the time I didn't think much of it, and I wear glasses, which I take of when I have a haircut, so I couldn't see what he was doing. Anyway he then proceeds to fix it – without telling me anything – by cutting my hair on the sides so short that it looked almost shaven, and terrible. And to make matters worse, instead of owning up to it at the end he says he just did it like that because he thought it would look nice and it's the ‘latest fashion' and ‘everybody is wearing it like that. He then suggests that I see what my friends think and I'm like I don't care what my friends think if I don't like the way I look. Of course he knows he messed up and before I even said anything he suggests that I don't have to pay if I don't want to – which of course I didn't, and which is all fair enough, but still incredibly annoying and personally I will never go back to this place and would not recommend it to anyone. The guy did a butcher job to fix his mistake without even consulting me at all and without actually owning up to his mistake. When I got home I also discovered I was bleeding from my ear a bit – not sure if it was from the haircut as I don't recall feeling a pinch but it may well have been.
I also note that at least two of the reviews posted here with 5-star ratings are by the proprietor himself (Albert Castiel)…how silly.
