Google Bad Review: Absolutely shocking experience. I did leave a recommendation on Facebook but it seems to have gone.
Parking is terrible, animals are in poor condition, when we went there was leftover scaffolding on the floor. Animals were absolutely terrified.
There’s no signage at all! WAY too many people were allowed in at any one time and we could hear people complaining about the ‘zoo’ the whole time we were there.
Tropical paradise is terrible, only 3 Butterfly’s were spotted by around 15 people in there when we went in, all fake plants, way too hot and no nectar stations for them to feed that we could see.
All in all, a terrible experience. We understand the zoo is new but it doesn’t mean the animals should suffer. As mentioned in the Facebook recommendation, it wouldn’t pass an inspection by DEFRA or the local council now.
