Google Bad Review 1: I am very disappointed with my recent visit to Boots Opticians in Barnet. I went for an eye test, they made me a new prescription. I selected my new frames and when I picked them up, there were problems with the new glasses. They are varifocals, and my vision was out of focus when i tried the new glasses on. Boots Opticians in Barnet sent them back to get them checked. When i picked them up for a second time, my vision was still out of focus and after 30 mins of wearing them, the left lens cracked. So they went back again. As the problem persisted and my vision didnt improve, I didnt want them anymore and wanted a refund. They said to me that they dont do refunds. I was shocked. I had my original eye test in April 2021 and today (28/6/21) I still dont have any new glasses or a refund. I am absolutely disgusted with the way I have been treated by Boots Opticians in Barnet and will not be using them again.

Google Bad Review (2): Sorely disappointed, I’ve been going to the store for many years & have always had amazing service from the lovely staff & optician. However, most recently the assistant manager has been extremely rude and unprofessional. He was quick to rush me out of the store telling me it was closing. The opening times state open 9-5:30 however this was only 12:45. I walked past a few mins later and their was a sign in the door saying they wouldn’t be opening again until 2:45. I came back a few mins after the shop was due to open again only to find that the time had been extended to 3:15. I went elsewhere to purchase my glasses. Boots are doing themselves a disservice and I will only return on a day he won’t be working due to the fact I was extremely pleased with the optician I’ve seen on previous occasions.
