Visited property for on Thursday 25th Feb 2021 for initial diagnostics (@£110.00) following hot water not working (Radiators working) recommended Heat exchanger change (12 months warranty @£300 + VAT) (Invoice attached)
Got it replaced immediately next day on Friday 26th Feb 2021
Saturday 27th Within 16 hours of replacement part boiler stops working again – No hot water and extra bonus now no radiators working as well.
Called on Saturday 27th @09:00 hrs within 16hrs – Boiler R US Welling refused to visit to rectify the issue instead suggested additional £495.00 + VAT for flushing with guarantee of 12 months.
Could have been upfront on the cost or additional repairs on the very first day. I could have probably changed the Boiler itself. Instead of holding customer to never ending ransom.
Again no guarantee even after flushing they might not recommend anything else !! Boiler R US Welling we might have to see after flushing if everything is fine?
So after intending to charge 50% of new boiler cost you are still not sure!!
Absolute height of greed and cheating.
