Google Bad Review 1:  1. We booked a night at the hotel as we had a spa for next day. I have booked for 3 months in advance for 1 hour with my wife at the same time but I had a call in the morning which 3h in advance saying that they don't have therapist. No solution were given only said ” Come back next time, we can't do nothing”. We weren't agree so we end up doing 30 min separately but it was even less than 20 min each not mentioning that we came from far.
2. Also I have forgotten my charger set. Called twice none knows anything.

Google Bad Review (2):  My wife (who’s just recovered from major surgery) and I came here for a “relaxingâ€? spa day and from the moment I arrived to the spa, my frustration started to build. This is purely down to the lady â€?workingâ€? the reception desk – Loreta. When we arrived, she made us feel like we were burdening her. Not a smile, nor a friendly welcome or even really a hello! We explained we had booked a spa day through buy a gift and had it confirmed via central reservations by forwarding them our voucher (as clearly stated in the redemption process). She complained twice that we did not have the physical voucher printed and aggressively said “it’s clearly written in the voucher you need to bring a physical copyâ€?. Upon careful inspection of the voucher, the voucher T&C’s and the confirmation email from Marriott spa reservations, there is absolutely no mention of needing to bring a physical/printed voucher, so why would we waste paper when we should be doing our utmost to protect the environment? We offered to email it across. Frankly there was no need to belittle us and make us feel awful for no reason. After this, we asked to hire some accessories, as stated on the buy a gift website and voucher “Robes, slippers and towels are available at an additional cost of £5 or you may bring your ownâ€?. The first issue was she charged us £12. As the statement above is vague, I can understand being charged £5 total and I can accept being charged £5pp, totalling £10 for 2. What I do not understand why she charged £12. She insisted £5pp was for the robe and £1pp was for the towel. I wasn’t going to argue over £2 so I left it. The second issue is we were not provided slippers. I pointed this out to Loreta and again aggressively she responded “it’s clearly written in the voucher slippers are subject to availabilityâ€?. Again I inspected the voucher and T&C’s and there is no mention of the phrase “subject to availabilityâ€?. I can live without a robe but slippers are an essential hygiene requirement when walking around the spa complex. When I challenged her statement and asked her to show me, she muttered to herself accepting she was wrong, but didn’t acknowledge my request, respond to me or even apologise for being rude and talking nonsense on two occasions! I kindly requested her to call house keeping and see if they can provide slippers as we had not brought our own, on the assumption we could purchase them from the hotel as stated on the voucher. She agreed to call, but when I returned 10 minutes later she hadn’t even bothered! How unprofessional and rude. She wasn’t busy, there were no other customers waiting for her attention, she was just self absorbed, on her phone it appeared. At this point I was highly agitated and insisted she call house keeping right away. Again not even an apology for not calling, just a horrid attitude. 10 minutes later house keeping kindly brought over some slippers. Besides this, the experience was fine. The massage started 20 minutes late and finished almost 10 minutes under the allocated time but it was good, firm-ish (as requested) but certainly very relaxing! Just to note, there is no water facilities here and water bottles are charged at £2 for 500ml. Parking is free for spa guests and on the contrary to the spa reception, the hotel reception staff were friendly. The hotel seems nice overall, just a real shame Loreta ruined our experience. As a platinum bonvoy member, I’ve never been treated so bad, I would never return to this Marriott as a result.

Google Good Review:  Been to marriot a few times now. Room is good value for money. Very comfortable and cosy. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Will be back again soon!
