Google Bad Review 1: They didn’t turn up to do the job, but said they did do the job and left an invoice in the letterbox. There was no invoice and I was in the house at the time they said they turned up. Their headquarters in East grinstead then started asking me for payment, for a job that wasn’t done and an invoice that i was never given!

Google Bad Review (2): Who are Ben’s Gutters ? Er, not very good at anything, has been my experience.
An exercise in creating bad faith by entering into an agreement which they had no intention of keeping.
I called their number, received a quote and assurance that someone would visit one week later. Their schtick is to confirm the appointment time the day before, between 5pm and 7pm for the following day. So far, so good.
Only no confirmation ‘phone call. After calling them three times, the person on the other end of the ‘phone gave me a timeframe and after asking further, the name of the person attending.
The following morning, I received a cancellation text.
No safeguarding. No apology. Jerks.
What a waste of time and goodwill.
The attitude of the staff over the ‘phone towards me was sneering mockery from the salesperson who took the original call and the person who confirmed the appointment.
As if communicating that by treating a potential customer badly couldn’t I work it out for myself that they were going to not turn up or do a poor job.
The woman who apologised couldn’t have been more helpful when I called to ask for my telephone number to be removed from their IT system.
Shocking.
