Google Bad Review: Quite frankly the worst medical experience I have ever had!
I'm 26 years old and had been hesitant to get the vaccine. I finally built the courage to get it done today. Once I got home, to my complete HORROR it said on my vaccine card that I had been injected with Astrazeneca instead of Pfizer.
Astrazeneca is known to cause health issues such as blood clots with people under 40 and it was already in my body! Needless to say, I went into a full blown panic attack and was severely distressed by this. It was a horrid experience trying to get through to someone who could help me. I ended up driving back to the centre and the manager Michael said it was “just a written error” and that I actually had Pfizer, he took the issue so lightly, like it wasn't a big deal. He kept defending the woman Amanda (not present) who injected me, instead of re-assuring my family and I like a medical professional is supposed to, “Oh, it's because we do so many”, “Amanda's very good and would never mean to”
I'm so disappointed by the way Micheal handled this. Classing the service as poor would be a compliment. It was far below that. I will be handling this further with NHS complaints due solely to the way the issue was handled. Disgraceful.
