Google Bad Review: I had a business trip to London from 18th of February to the 1st of March (11 nights). I was travelling with my family member. We booked 2 interconnected rooms in the Bankside Hotel, Autograph Collection for a total price of £ 9,518. First room was a Suite with a King bed another one was a Deluxe King room. I have an extensive travel experience but that is the first time I encounter such an awful hotel and service considering the money paid. The issue is that on the night of February 24th my family member saw a BIG FAT MOUSE in her room on the third floor in this new hotel. The very next day we were waiting for a pest control services. Simply moving to the other room wouldn’t help, because there were holes in the room meaning that mice could live in the hotel. While waiting for the pest control, my elderly family member had to take certain clothes from the room, but she was to scared to go inside. So when I’ve entered the room I saw the MOUSE myself. When they came (Biowise, Ben Dunn was a service technician) besides confirming that the mouse was there (chewed through wrapper of a biscuit) and also covering over the visible hole under the sealing (which they also confirmed to be a very possible way for a mouse to enter the Suite) they left two mouse traps. They didn’t even move a furniture upon my request, even though it was the only way to get rid of possible mice hole(s).The hotel worker Macarena was there all the time along with me and two technicians from Biowise. She tried to be sensitive but she didn’t seem to be surprised.In the morning of 26th of February my family member saw the mouse AGAIN! The housekeeping lady who brought my laundry was with me in my room at that moment and wasn’t surprised either. It is likely that mice live in this hotel. No compensation apart from the offer to pay for a taxi after we decided to move out of the hotel was offered. I would highly recommend to stay away from this place.
