Google Bad Review (2): Unfortunately I won’t be coming back.
I found unreasonable that I had to pay an extra £10 for a couple of brush strokes on just 2 of my nails, work that took 2 minutes (see images attached). I was first told it was going to be an extra 10 and I thought they meant an extra 10 minutes but it came out they meant an extra £10. It was too late to question it as the work had already been done. I appreciate the fact that they took the extra few minutes to do this but I’d expect this to be priced at the minimum price (£5) or not charged extra at all. I honestly can’t imagine the cost I would have to pay if I wanted an actual complicated hand drawn design or more nails done.
I later found another salon that either offer this as part of the service or only charge £3 for 2 nails (£5 for 4 nails) depending on the complexity of the design and I was advised that these brush strokes would not need to be charged extra. Obviously I feel like I was scammed.
Also due to carelessness, there were a few times that when putting my toes under the UV lamp they were touching the plastic so the gel was ruined & had to be redone. I also left with 2 small wounds as too much pressure was put when tidying the skin around the nails.
