Google Bad Review 1: Expensive and ineffective. Engineer carried out assessment of malfunctioning boiler, in less than 10min advised a replacement pump was needed and said office would have to quote – not himself – and left. Had to chase office for updates, turned out a new pump and installation would have been £425+VAT. Made point to say that there was no guarantee the pump was the only part that needed replacing and that more parts would be required to fix problem – and all chargeable. Called different engineer for second opinion and it turned out the pump is fully functioning and the problem was elsewhere!!! He was carrying all necessary spare parts in his van – hey presto all fixed for considerably less than ASAP quoted, and no VAT on top.

Google Bad Review (2): I think ASAP are just too busy to bother with difficult/non-straightforward jobs. The first time I used ASAP I was very impressed with their responsiveness and speed. The second time (different problem, same boiler), they were less good at keeping me up to date on the arrival of the faulty part but fixed it in the end. The third time the boiler packed it in, it seemed that they just gave up because it wasn't obvious what the issue was. The boss (Jamie) said that he would call the boiler manufacturer to ask for advice, but never got back to us despite chasing texts from my husband. Very disappointed, and had to go to another company.
