Google Bad Review: Visited the store twice and spoke to customer service on the phone in between visits for me to leave the last visit feeling unsatisfied and without a reasonable solution. I purchased my first iPad Pro 2 years 2months ago, with apple care guarantee. The iPad Pro responsive recognition malfunctioned after a year and a half and I was given a replacement iPad. 7 months into my replacement iPad Pro the hardware system has malfunctioned and the iPad Pro is unable to be restored. I visited the store for assistance in which the response I was met with was “you will need to purchase a brand new iPad Pro as the system has failed and will not restore”. I was extremely unsatisfied with this solution as this particular iPad was only 7months old and has already broken through a fault that isn’t mine. After calling apples customer service they ensured me that their products are made of quality and if they malfunction due to a fault that isn’t mine they are able to still offer me a new but discounted product because of the UK consumer law and decided to rebook me another appointment to get a better solution. Today I visited the store, I was met with an employee at the Genius Bar with very little interest to look into the situation further, once I had asked for a manager he offered me a new iPad Pro for £550 without any apple care. After explaining that there is no reason for me to purchase another discounted iPad Pro because they are only liable for 3 months after purchase EVEN IF the fault is a manufacture error therefore if I did purchase this iPad Pro for £550 and it malfunctioned after just 4 months I would then had to purchase a brand new one for full price or proceed with this same process. Apple is supposed to produce QUALITY products and customer care yet I have seen neither. Considering I can go to other stores and purchase the same product for £500 as well as get 2 YEARS FREE GUARANTEE, their company may not be as advanced as apple but they certainly know how to keep customers. Feel very let down and ripped off by apple, I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
