Google Bad Review (2): I booked a table for myself and my partner for 5pm. I knew the restaurant was open at this time so I did not think it would be an issue. We arrived at the restaurant and it was still closed bearing in mind that we arrived 10 minutes late as well. We were tempted to leave at this point but we decided to wait. Eventually the chef opened the door and let us in. Nothing was prepared and only the chef was on shift which he associated himself in the kitchen. He informed us that someone would arrive at the restaurant in a minute so we had to wait. Eventually the staff member arrived and took our drinks orders. She then took our food order and proceeded to sit on one of the chairs on her phone the entire time. The food wasn’t that great. We had tikka masala which pretty much burnt our mouths. We couldn’t eat much of it. It was way too hot in there no air conditioning. No other customers were in there which I found very strange and not reassuring at all. And to top it off I didn’t notice until the end of the meal but there had been a massive spider behind me above my chair which I immediately said I want to leave. It took ages for us to finally get the bill and once we did it came to £40 which I thought was such a rip off considering we had no starters just drinks two curries and a naan to share. Would not come here again and I certainly wouldn’t recommend.
