Google Bad Review: We own 7 investment properties across London, all of which have a different property manager.. unfortunately, for one of those properties, it is AdInterim.
In all my years in property I have never encountered such a difficult, obtuse and unpleasant organisation. Their communication skills are horrific: passive aggressive, patronizing, and far from a joy to communicate with – especially if you have the misfortune to have Jane Blackburn manage your account. They also seem to go out of their way to suck any life and joy out of what remains of owning property and take great pleasure in overcomplicating the most simple of tasks.
There are now MANY options when deciding on a property manager and most of them are very lovely, very respectful and very helpful (all of the things that AdInterim are not) so I highly advise you find one of those instead.
UPDATE:
In response to AdInterims reply:
1. I'm not their ‘listed' client, my husband/our business is.
2. How would they know how many properties we own? it's not declared to them.
3. It would be naive and a waste of time to complain directly to them, given the attitude we've seen to other comms – I would subsequently prefer it be public.
4. We've never received comms from anybody other than Jane Blackburn – if we weren't a client, how would we know who she is.
5. I doubt this greatly!
6. That is correct – readers should absolutely be directed away from working with Adinterim. As I said, there are many alternate providers available!
7. I won't be emailing privately as I know it will only eventuate in them being even more difficult than they already are.
