Google Bad Review 1: Yet another waste of space Recruitment Company.
Sent them my CV as normal, within two hours I had a call back, after talking things over my cv was sent over on a potential job opportunity, I queried at the time about my experience but had the same old salesman’s pitch that I was ‘perfect and just what they are looking for’
But then I went on the interview it was quite clear I wasn’t suitable for the role, I chased for feedback a number of times but never heard back, it’s now been a year and I’ve had nothing back from the recruitment agency.
A month later (from the first interview) I got an email from them saying ‘hey got another job opportunity interested???” “they’ll consider you despite your background and not in this type of insurance”
When I challenged asking about what happened to the first role, you haven't contacted me with feedback, I got a rude a response from them suggesting you should be grateful that they even considered me, and questioned why I turned up to the interview if I had read the spec. Oddly enough I turned up because you told me I would be a perfect fit and don't worry about the experience they'll take you. I’m having de ja vu here on the role you just emailed me about!!!! Agent (who is one of the owners) calmed down the second I made a complaint.
A wonderful way to run a company and keep client's coming back for more, ignore them until you need them again, not impressed.
If I’m ever in the position to have to use a recruitment agency to find employees i would avoid them completely.
Just to add I’ve now been approached by ten different recruitment companies wanting to recruit for the same role. Sounds like AMC isn’t able to appoint anyone to that role just show up candidates.
As a side note to the other reviewer just because you know someone doesn't mean they are good at what they do. I've kept copies showing the poor experience I received from this company and I'm more than willing to share them with the general public

Google Good Review: I could not disagree more with the previous review written and it doesn’t actually seem the “reviewer “ knows the owners Chris and Shirley. As a candidate that has has dealings with AMC Insurance appointments, their approach through the recruitment lifecycle is amazing. The care and personal approach they bring to the table is great and they will always happily answer any questions. I didn’t get the job through AMC but will use them in the future where possible.
