Google Reviewer 1, Name (Bad Review): Sarah Mackessy
Google Bad Review 1: I was referred to Altura because they are considered to be specialist in expat / foreign income mortgages and sadly was very disappointed by my interactions with them. It took a couple of follow ups, a lengthy fact find and 2 months to then reach dead end. The issue revolved around our self-employed status and although we were advised at the very start this wouldn't be an issue it ultimately was. I feel a lot of wasted time could have been prevented had our advisor been more knowledgeable and experienced in expat/ foreign income mortgages.
UPDATE: I have revised the review from 1 to 2 stars after the Managing Director contacted me directly to discuss our experience and apologize, this was greatly appreciated.
