Google Bad Review 1: This company is an agent and does not hire their handyman directly, thus refuses to bare any responsibility for handyman’s work or damage! We hired handyman for a job that was quoted to take 2 hours. Instead, handyman took 5 hours to complete the job which included him leaving for 40 minuets to repark his car. I payed everything in full. Handyman left the house when it was already dark, I discovered the next morning that while drilling the hole for curtain rode he broke my floor to ceiling window glass with a drill handle. I called and emailed the company straight away with pictures that prove my claims. They refused to speak to me, said handyman does not accept responsibility and I should deal with him directly. I contacted handyman, he ignored me until I sent him official letter. Then he replied that he does not accept responsibility and I should deal directly with his insurance company. After contacting insurance company I was told by them that the handyman does not accept responsibility and there is nothing they can do for me. This hassle took half a year, nothing was sorted out, the only thing I can do is go to court and pay £1000 court fees as to replace the floor to ceiling window I was quoted to cost £7000.
Horrible experience, do not recommend hiring people through this company.

Google Bad Review (2): The handyman was excellent but the customer service is TERRIBLE. The handyman attended for a full day appointment (nearly £300) and we discussed a number of items he will do at his next visit (which was also a full day appointment). When I told them to ask the handyman or let me speak to the handyman regarding items I need to purchase for the second appt, they refuse to let me speak to him for free before the appointment. In spite of the fact he has already attended for a full day and has the information, customer service said I can have an in person appt with the handyman before his second appointment for £24!!! All this instead of a quick phone call! Further, when he attended the handyman attended he promised to build me a DIY table but customer service have suddenly said he cannot do it.
Instead of all this, the company could just have a conference call with the handyman on the line with the customer (so that customer service is privy to the conversation) to avoid all this miscommunication. I am dealing with Kate at Aussie Handyman – it has been a very frustrating experience. The handyman is excellent and knew exactly what needs to be done, I just wish customer service would endeavour to make it a more time efficient experience.
