Google Bad Review 1: I have taken my car here for some 9 years and have trusted their diagnosis of what repairs needed to be done. These have become increasingly pricy but I have attributed that to the age of the car.

However in June I had a problem with the power steering system while driving back from Spain and a garage in northern France told me that there was a leak in a pipe from the coolant tank.

We kept the system topped up with fluid until we got back to London and took it to Belgravia garage for an assessment of the repair that was needed. Belgravia garage told me that it was the coolant radiator for the power steering system that needed replacing at a cost of £774 – it was not just the rubber pipe I was told.

This was rather a shock so I decided to get a second opinion given that the mechanic in France had been very clear it was a small pipe. I took it to Xavier Auto Clinic garage at Stanford Bridge – Michael replaced a jubilee clip on the pipe as a temporary repair and did not charge me as it only took a few minutes.

We ordered the pipe that needed replacing at a cost of £16.50 and it was fitted – at no additional cost – at the same time as they did an MOT. The car is absolutely fine and I have saved a huge amount of money and shall not return to Belgravia Garage.

I now wonder how many other times I may have paid for unnecessary items… At Xavier Auto Clinic I was shown the pipe that was damaged and replaced – this was not common practice at Belgravia garage.

Google Bad Review (2): Although they advertise on £10 starting but they charge you £20.0. Because they say only suziki, mini or corsage like cars on £10. Their services its worst ever have had. Because I have to ask staff to do their job properly to cover all round what I pay. I even picked up some towels to complete the job for £20.0 paid. Staffs are lazy, cowboys and ignorant. It's ripped off for what you get low quality wash. Most places it's tenner that even better than them they do effort to make customers happy but this belgravia has been on the hands on some eu migrants they can not even speak English. Headless chickens, Ebury Bridge branch!!!!
