Google Bad Review 1: I don’t doubt that the service received by others is not helpful. I don’t doubt that their vehicles are excellent quality. What I have a problem with is my parents paid a deposit of £500 on a vehicle after their visit to their showroom. The day before their visit my dad phoned and enquired about the car. The salesman said he would ensure the car was brought to the front so that my disabled mum could access the vehicle and see if she was able to get into it with out problem. When they arrived the next day the vehicle was tucked right in the back completely inaccessible for my mum to get anywhere near it so obviously no test drive. So still unsure at this point if the vehicle was suitable or not they placed a deposit on it. Unfortunately that evening we had a Bereavement in the family so a quick decision was made that maybe it wasn’t the right time to buy this car now as the funds he had allocated to the purchase would have to be diverted elsewhere. So less than 24 hours later my dad called and explained the situation and requested to cancel and get his deposit returned. The answer was quite simply “no”. They would retain his money to put towards any future purchase. Being as my mum is disabled and both are old age pensioners I find this attitude, quite simply lacking in empathy and compassion. I could understand if he cancelled after a week or so but less than 24 hours??? This company clearly have no morals. Utterly appalling attitude. My opinion is don’t leave a sizeable deposit!!! They clearly need that £500 more than my old aged pensioner parents!!!
