Google Bad Review: I really don't like giving bad reviews unless I feel it's necessary. Don't get me wrong the salon is nice it's right near the station and the lady working there was polite enough as a person but did not handle what happened very professionally.
I booked two weeks ago for a wash cut and blow dry online I had a Wowcher
This was after I had tried to call the mobile number multiple times, and the 0208 number that was stated on the Wowcher. Nobody answered – I also left a voicemail and nobody got back in touch with me This is why I booked online and had a confirmation for 6pm 6th September When I went there, the lady said there was no appointment for me on the system. I am an understanding person and I get that system errors occur but I only booked online because nobody answered when I made other attempts to book
The lady didn't seem to believe me at first until I showed her my confirmation email I'm organised like that and I don't make mistakes like showing up on the wrong day After that she asked if I paid online I said no I had a Wowcher. I paid for the Wowcher online – she then said oh, no wonder they are two different companies – we use Treatwell for bookings I said no – I booked my appointment using Treatwell, but the way I paid was I purchased a Wowcher towards it – and the Wowcher was for a haircut at THIS salon – it was almost as if she thought I was just silly and can't understand basics of booking a haircut or using an online system. Never had a problem with any wowchers for haircuts before either
She then said that I should have booked over the phone because that's how they process Wowchers but NOBODY answered when I called multiple times – this could have been avoided if they just answered – and they need to sort their system out became I travelled an hour and a half there for no reason I'm a patient person, she rescheduled but I don't want to go back so have cancelled – I wasn't offered anything for my inconvenience and the Wowcher states there is a ten pound surcharge for longer than shoulder length hair, which I have – I am not paying extra when I got a poor service I'm sure they cut hair great but good customer service is key. Therefore I won't be returning
