Google Bad Review 1: We had fingernails in our chips and sausages in batter. We had a mix of hot, cold, soggy and warm chips, which looked bad and tasted horrible. We are regular customers, but this is enough.
This isn't the first time we've had a problem with they're food with the consequences including loss of appetite, food poisoning, wasted finances and being genuinely unwell.
This is the last time we'll be eating from Toffs. Enough is enough. Not even the dog could eat the food.
I will now proceed to puke.

Google Bad Review (2): Really wanted to love this place.
Moving to M. Hill soonish and had heard the rave reviews.
I'm a bit of a fish and chips fanatic, having mainly eaten the stuff at amazing restaurants along the south coast, or at Seashell on Lisson Grove (seriously, this is the best fish and chips inside of London and so fresh) so expectations were high.
What arrived was mediocre – greasy chips, even greasier batter, all a bit meh.
So disappointed.
We ate in and the service was fine, if a little disinterested, but the place felt a little like an old canteen.
I cannot understand the rave reviews.
Maybe they were having a bad evening…or maybe they are still basking in former glory and need some serious local competition to help them remember that complacency isn't a good look.
