Google Bad Review 1:  Many years ago I had a Brazilian blow dry at this salon which was good and I recently tried to do that again for my daughter. They have automated the phone, left a message for several times which was ignored. Sent 4-5 emails within 8 days for someone to give me available appointment days/ times, again all were ignored. Such unprofessional way of running a business! What an excise for a hair salon this place is!

Google Bad Review (2):  I came here a couple of months ago and it was really awful.

I arrived as it opened for my appointment. Despite being the only customer there, I waited for 10-15 minutes while my hair dresser blow dried his hair and disappeared to do something out the back before gracing me with his presence.

He did two things no other hairdresser has ever done – he washed my hair with water so hot that I had to pull my head away and ask him to turn the temperature down and, later, he went to start hacking away at my hair before even checking if he had parted my hair in its usual place (he hadn't…I had to stop him to tell him. When I did so, he advised that I part my hair in the wrong place).

The products he used on my hair ruined it. I literally couldn't style it for about a week and he struggled to tame it while I was there. For the entire appointment he repeatedly advised me about how awful the condition of my hair was, and complained about how horrible it was to work with. Now, I'm probably biased, but I honestly don't think it's that bad. I'd had it cut about 4 months before and no other hair dresser has ever been so openly disgusted with it. Apparently, my hair was SO bad that it was the reason that the appointment ran late by 10 minutes (nothing to do with him starting late). He said he'd make a note on my account so others would know in future…as if I'm returning.

Aside from temporarily ruining the condition of my hair, and any confidence I had in it, and telling me I didn't know how to part my hair, he also did a pretty awful cut. He suggested cutting away at the front and I said I didn't want to lose the length at the front, just to trim it. That didn't stop him though. He hacked in so that the front of my hair ended in a very visible ledge which reminded me of when I was 10 years old and was growing out my fringe. I've had to pin it back for the last two months. Not only did he hack away tons more at the front than I wanted him to, he cut it unevenly. I hadn't realised he had finished until he went to attend to his other waiting customer. I had to point out that it was uneven and ask him to try and fix it. He told me I was wrong, that it looked uneven because of my parting (which I was doing wrong, if you remember) and then he gave it a cursory chop before going off to his other customer and leaving me to remove my gown and show myself out.

So, in conclusion: awful customer service, awful hair treatment and awful haircut.
