Google Bad Review: Why am I not returned deposited for a clear ‘tear and wear? Does anyone know if that's their common practice or a simple mistake?
Foxton informed me that the landlord claimed 1000 Pounds from my deposits due to a damaged toilet bowl. However, the toilet bowl was clean and preserved in a good condition when I checked out. And there’s no evidence nor house report provided to me to support their claim! The only thing I can do is reply ‘yes’ to accept the claim or contact the house manager who rarely responds. Moreover, even if the toilet was smashed and ruined completely somehow, 1000 pounds is much more than the price of a new toilet bowl! Again, there’s no further detail of how much his previous toilet bowl was worth. It makes me feel like the landlord and Foxton fraud me for the money. What a shame
