Google Bad Review 1:  Darren is a lovely guy but terrible hairdresser! Had highlights done to my natural hair and he put in such a light colour that it burnt off my hair and the worst thing is he said nothing! Just hid it in the foil! I have since had most of my hair break off which was in great condition before my salon visit to Darren. Im now in the process of cutting off the dead hair slowly while trying to grow back my hair. I would never let him touch my hair again. Ever.

Google Bad Review (2):  So after growing out my hair for a number of years, I decided to find a salon I could visit to get it cut. I read the reviews for the “Darren Scott” salon in London and it looked promising; they appeared to know how to handle curly hair, and there were plenty of good reviews about them.

I ended up booking me in for an appointment, and to cut a long story short, the guy cutting my hair absolutely butchered it.
I had a very nice mixture of 2c/3a/3b curls; many curls that were straight at the roots, 2c at the mid part and 3b at the tips. I washed my hair before the appointment and made sure the curls weren't tampered with, only to walk in and have the guy comb all of my curls out and then proceed to cut the frizz. wth ?!

He didn't even pay any regard to the contours, nor was there ANY attention to detail. I asked him to layer it, and he did an absolutely shoddy job. I basically have two very visibly distinct hair lengths. The worst bit was the entire ordeal was over in 15-20 minutes. Yes, that's right, 3 years of hair growth cut and styled, all in 20 minutes. Even when I'd get buzz cuts back in the day, they would take longer than this.

When I got home, and washed and styled it, the curl definition was mostly gone. It's primarily weak curl/frizzy hair. Most of the curls are gone; I am absolutely gutted. My sister did a better job and she's not even a hairdresser. All that effort, time, and patience, gone down the drain.
