Google Bad Review 1:  Irina denied me of my final session of laser hair removal that I had already paid for. The last time we spoke in person, we both agreed that I had one more laser session available. Over phone and text she has denied this and despite my explaining, she has always disregarded my reasoning and made our conversation about prices.

I have never had an issue with the prices. Rather, this is about honoring services that have already been purchased.

BACKGROUND:
– I bought six sessions to treat my lower legs only.
– Went to the first session and thought I would buy six sessions to treat the upper legs and bikini area as well.
– Therefore, sessions 1 -6 were to treat my lower legs, and sessions 2 to 7 were for upper legs & bikini. (sessions 2 – 6 saw an overlap of lower, upper legs & bikini).

After session 7, I had no more sessions left. So, i decided to buy another 3 sessions to treat upper legs + bikini areas. I have the confirmation messages from Irina as well though she does not acknowledge this.

Only 2 out of these 3 additional sessions were honored. I had an appointment for the final session and I messaged Irina to confirm the appointment. She then replied saying, “Yes, see you today”.

A moment later, she tehn replied saying that I had no more sessions left, which is a lie. I have since contacted the UK COnsumer Ombudsman as this is outright stealing and dishonest.

Google Bad Review (2):  AVOID THIS DISHONEST COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. STEALS YOUR MONEY.
After paying Irina £450 in cash for 6 laser hair removal sessions, on my second visit to her salon, she suddenly claimed I hadn’t paid her at all. Honestly, and I mean no offense – it was like she had completely lost her mind. I showed her there and then the cash withdrawals from HSBC High Street Kensington from my online banking, and we agreed I had indeed paid, and we signed accordingly. I then received a series of upsetting text messages from Irina well into the night claiming that I had only paid for ONE session at £450 (ridiculous, as these sessions were actually the SECOND batch of 6 treatments I had paid for. So I would never pay the same amount of money for only ONE treatment. Towards the end of my first batch of sessions, Irina claimed I needed a further 6 treatments to fully remove the hair, so I coughed up a further £450. She insisted on cash, and that it must not be paid into her bank account). Irina denies all knowledge of this and is no longer replying to my messages.
I have the text messages as evidence of this most horrific and upsetting experience if anyone needs any further assurance that this company IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. I don’t earn much money and it took months to save for this. I now have to fork out more money elsewhere to finish the treatment. My advice is NEVER pay cash for these things, and to NEVER EVER use Best Laser Room. Irina knows full well I paid her, and what I paid her for. What she has done is illegal, full blown theft, and if I had more money I would take her to court. Please don’t make the same mistake I did.

Google Bad Review 1:  First visit to this restaurant this week. The only good thing about this restaurant is the view. The services and food are mediocre, I had better food in China Town at a faction of the cost. Extremely over priced.

The duck was very good, I agree with the others, although we are pretty sure not actually the whole duck that we paid (£65) for was served. They cut some of it in front of you and then bring a ‘second serving’ which was not big. No way that was one whole duck.

Now, lets talk about the rest. All the other dishes we had were so awful that I still have the bad after taste for hours after. We ordered Mapo Tofu, twice cooked pork belly, and grilled lamb chops. Both meat dishes felt not even fresh, the meat has a slight smelliness to them, and oh God the cooking. It’s disastrous. They don’t have any of the right ingredients for Sichuan food, not anywhere near the right method. I have no idea what kind of crazy cooking method is going down in the kitchen and when was the last time the chefs have had real Sichuan food themselves. All I could taste is sour and salt. And indeed the whole restaurant smells a bit sour.

I have no idea what this place is trying to do claiming to offer Sichuan dishes. They are absolutely not Sichuan dishes so please don’t call them with those names, it’s highly misleading. Just called them the ‘sour and salty mess by Min Jiang’. Eating in that restaurant is like attending a live show of Emperors New Clothes where people are eating silently and no one wants to admit that they suggested this terrible place and the food is awful. I was wondering if the servers were in for the gag as well and perhaps they are secretly laughing away at the Guailaos eating pretend Sichuan food and paying insane prices for it.

If you want to taste real Sichuan food at a third of the price as Min Jiang, try any other decent Sichuan restaurants in London, Jinli and New China Gate, or even the ‘over priced’ Bar Shu which would set you back less than what Min Jiang would.
