Google Bad Review: My partner bought a Groupon for a haircut at this salon. When she made the purchase on the phone she was asked her phone number. She was caught up at work and completely forgot her appointment and was then told it was too late; that the Groupon has been redeemed and she could not reschedule. They did not call or send a text reminder; something most salons do. She could have easily been fitted in any other time since she had bought the Groupon, but clearly the greedy manager had already made some easy money and had no interest in working for it. When I called back to complain, he was rude, dismissive and told me that they are not “one of those posh salons”. Clearly not. He neither apologised nor offered an explanation for why a phone number was taken if there was no intention of reminding her. If she was a non- Groupon customer who had made the appointment, clearly there would not have been an issue. I have complained to Groupon too and will take it further so their business is removed for misleading advertising.
