Google Bad Review 1: The worst experience ever! Ordered on Uber eats to be called to tell me the price was wrong and to cancel the order myself! I told them that if they advertised that price they should abide by it. He hung up to speak to his manager to then receive a push notification to say the item was out of stock and to choose something else. When I tried to choose something else the store had closed. He called me to say they were closed after speaking to his manager. Totally unorganised. Stay clear!!!!

Google Bad Review (2): “Well you can’t do much with vegetables”, was the response when I asked why there were so few non-meat/fish dishes on the menu. A few side dishes for sure but who wants to go to a restaurant and just order some sides?
In 2022 this seeming obsession with meat is lazy and unimaginative in my opinion, so I’ll eat elsewhere. There are plenty of Chinese restaurants who cater brilliantly for customers who don’t want to eat meat all the time without relying on “mock” chicken.
Sadly it also looks like the restaurant has no care for the environment judging by the single use plastics used for the takeaway service. Environmentally friendly containers are neither hard to find nor expensive. There’s no excuse.
I think you have to stand for something these days, so I won’t be giving My Old China any more of my business. I’m sure they won’t miss me and they will continue to be busy but it doesn’t mean they couldn’t do better.
