If a company doesn't value it's candidates it most definitely does not value it's employees or any human connections it makes.

Google Bad Review (2):  I'll explain the lower rating (see caveats in second paragraph below). But let me say right away that my tutor (Jamie Chapman) is an excellent teacher with a fine-tuned ear who worked with me without having to turn on my cam. You see, I have Autism and Photosensitive Epilepsy and facing people is an ordeal for me because of my condition. I am confined to my home 24/7 and since I'm not working, I'm supported financially by my partner and our Autism Society.

That brings me to my caveats: The fee they charge is one of the highest (if not THE highest in the market). Given that I have a disability and the fact that we are all in the midst of a pandemic when most people are being laid off, one would expect a reduction or a discount. They do offer a 5% discount but only if you book within 24 hours after your taster (talk about pressure)! However, I did email within 2 hours and did get 5% off. But the fee was still too prohibitive and exorbitant for someone like me from a developing country.

Moreover, Jamie will not email you the text/notes in advance and you either have to write it down yourself or he writes it down for you with a pen, DURING the session!!! Then he takes a picture of the paper on which he has handwritten the notes and texts it to you. Then you wait till the text with pics downloads onto your phone. All of that means you lose many precious paid minutes (sometimes 5-10 minutes). He never gives you an extra minute, except an extra minute during my last session during which he asked me to write a review! In fact, most days he was a minute late because he kept going to Google Hangouts instead of Skype where we had agreed to meet in advance. Even though he texts you the notes live during the session, don't expect him to reply even with an “okay” if you text him back. He'll simply tell you he never saw your text.

I'd have gladly done more sessions because he is very good at his job, but the fee is just too much and some of the business practices feel like exploitation. Because of my autism, I am not good at arguments or asking for help. I normally don't write reviews, but I felt I should warn those who are sensitive like me before they make the commitment.
