Google Bad Review (2):  My tyres only lasted a month.
They made my screws way too tight.
And gave me the wrong tyre for my car…
Obviously pounced on the fact that I didn’t know about tyres
I highly recommend Bubbles Tyres
Even if I lived in Scotland I’ll go there for my tyres
I’m going out of my way to make this review because I am frustrated, especially with the service, the tyre on the right is the wrong tyre for my car and is much heavier than the actual tyre I’m supposed to have, hence my heavy loss in mpg.

Google Bad Review 1:  AVOID, TYPICAL SCAMMERS!!

What an appalling place. In order to sell me tyres they caused my wheels to be unbalanced and told me new tyres will reduce the wobble.

At the time of removing my tyres I watched the guy break off some small rectangular pieces with a screwdriver from the inside of my alloys. He removed the old tyre and installed the new one but did not replace the small rectangles. I didn't think much of it as I didn't know what they were and thought it was maybe some dirt that had gathered since I recently bought my car. He then put the tyre up on the balancing machine and showed me how my tyre was really unbalanced and said my alloys were damaged and maybe the previous owner was involved in a collision of some sort. He recommended I buy new tyres (not new alloys) as a new tyre will reduce the wobble according to him.

I went home to look into what this whole balancing thing is and what I found out from a quick google search is that those rectangular pieces he took off my alloys, well those are counter weights. No alloy wheel is manufactured fully balanced, weights in the form of rectangles are installed in various areas of an alloy to counter the unevenness and reduce wobble.

My mistake here was that the day before I mentioned to him that I'm interested in new tyres so in order to get the sale he purposely unbalanced my tyres and potentially left me in a dangerous situation. I will be contacting trading standards about these cowboys.
