Google Bad Review:  Really poor customer service……in fact no service! Certainly one to avoid for smaller companies……..they don't care at all, and don't stick to contract when it comes to replacement vehicles.
Only have 1 truck left with this company, and every pmi / MOT / Hiab inspection is always an issue! They constantly forget to get booked in, then forget / ignore our contractual requirements for a substitute vehicle.
Would really avoid these people………..we end up doing more of the admin than they do even though we are paying them to look after that side of things

Google Bad Review:  I contacted LDN Hire on 20th May requesting information and availability of a 12-seater minibus. After some correspondence back and forth, I was informed there was no availability of a 12, but I could have a 15-seater. I was provided a special quote approved by the supervisor as it was for a charity event. On 29th May I confirmed I wished to go ahead with the booking and received a reply stating they needed to check availability. They also suddenly decided not to honour the approved quote. I was busy and stressed at work and eager to book the van so even though I was annoyed I accepted the amended quote. Two days later, having received no further reply, I sent a follow up email asking for confirmation. I was out of the country for the next few days and returned on Thursday 6th June when I was then able to call. The advisor I spoke to told me he needed to find out what was going on with my enquiry and promised to call back before the end of the day. I received no call and was out of the country from the following morning till 11th June. I called at 10am on 11th June and was told I would receive a call back in a couple of hours. When 4pm came around, I decided to call again; as it should not take 6 hours to confirm availability of a vehicle. Outrageously, I was in fact waiting 11 days for confirmation! After this phone call, where the advisor told me my booking was confirmed, I received an email saying there had been an error on the system and they didn’t have the 15-seater minibus available. Their response was to offer me a 17-seater vehicle at a higher price. I sent an email back expressing my frustrations and received a stream of nonsense excuses. One of which was stating the person who was originally dealing with my enquiry was away. They all use the same email so should’ve seen my follow ups. Also, what was their excuse for not returning my calls?? They offered me a £45 discount on their price for the 17-seater and a 25% discount off my next hire!? Would you even hire off them a first time after all of this?
The least they could have done for their mistake was offer the 17-seater at the price agreed for the 15-seater. Following this ordeal, I did not dare hire through them but was left 2 weeks to sort out an alternative. Luckily, I did find another company who were fantastic. As for LDN Hire; terrible service, awful communication, a huge inconvenience caused. Do not use.

We are a small children’s charity run by volunteers that booked a bus for a weekend to take a group of kids from London to the north. We paid for this “company” to deliver the bus to us on Friday afternoon and to pick it up again on Monday morning. I will never, ever use them again as they are either incompetent or fraudulent or both.

Nadeem who deals with the bookings is very efficient and competent which lulls you into a false sense of security. We completed all the required paperwork in advance as required.

On the Friday afternoon the bus had not arrived by the booking time so I phoned to ask what was happening. I got put through to “operations” department. The person on the phone said there were “operational” difficulties and that we might not have our bus for a few hours. Bear in mind I had called them, they had not called us to inform us of this at any point. I had this conversation with more than a dozen children waiting for the bus to be dropped off. I explained to the operations person, who had almost no command of English, that this was unacceptable, that “logistics are complicated” or similar wording is not a good explanation of why we didn’t have a bus and we cannot wait with a bunch of children sitting on benches on the street for the bus to be delivered.

It was quite clear that this bloke did not have a clue what he was doing so I phoned back straight away, spoke to Nadeem who then obviously made some calls, called me back and said a different bus was on its way and would be within us within an hour.

The driver of the replacement bus then phones up to suggest we use a different bus from a different depot… no I don’t understand how he could have been driving a replacement bus and then picking up another bus from another depot either… clearly the stories we were being told were in the realms of fantasy but in the end they got a bus to us only about 2 hours late. We lost another half an hour as we were asked to reprint the booking paperwork to recomplete deposit details of credit card.
After reprinting everything etc and getting to the venue we realised we’d already completed all this paperwork well in advance and when the driver called the office he confirmed that this is indeed what had happened. Their office appears to have no clue what the drivers are doing or vice versa.

The bus was fine (though unusually for mini bus company they drop it off empty so you have to immediately fill up).

We return to London on the Saturday night. The bus sits outside our driver’s house for two days and is picked up by the company’s own driver on the Monday morning as agreed. I phoned Nadeem to explain that we would be making a formal complaint but in the end I just thought I didn’t want to deal with this company ever again.

TWO MONTHS LATER… £208 is taken from our driver’s account by this company (a volunteer with our charity). When we phone up we are told that a congestion charge fine was incurred on the Monday that they’ve emailed us and written to us about it but we hadn’t responded. We explained the only logical explanation was that their own driver had incurred the fine and that we had received no communication from them whatsoever in the interim period. We were just told to email and would have a response in 48 hours. This was all today.

I then emailed copying in the legal firm that sponsors our charity explaining that if they don’t reimburse the money today then we will get formal legal advice and seek compensation. Nadeem then phones back to say that he has looked up the paperwork and THEIR OWN PAPERWORK demonstrates that the bus was picked up by their own driver prior to the congestion charge fine being incurred i.e. it proves it was their driver. Now we are being reimbursed but it may “take 7 days”.
DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGEPOLE.

Google Bad Review:  I think it’s bloody disgusting the amount Enterprise flex-e-rent charge you if you make a call by mobile then boo a vehicle in front r a service, especially or you have gone to their web site and the only number they give is a 0845 Number.

I have just been charged twice for the same call on my mobile to book a vehicle in for a service won’t be happening again, they should tell you that you’ll be charged these extortionate rate before you are connected. I’m sure they make enough money on their hire rate and service rates.

To be honest if I could rate their honest, I would give them minus 1000 as they don’t give you any other options no land line number come up, so it leave you no choice

Google Bad Review 1:  Fiat 500 was absolutely perfect, however, the staff are inept and deceitful.

After booking the car over the phone with the manager, I receive the confirmation email stating that my car had been booked for an additional day that I didn't want. I call them back and they say that's not a problem and they'll get my booking amended straight away. Nothing happens. On the pickup day, I bring the issue up again and am told that with this car there is a 7 day minimum rental. I explain that at no point did anyone mention this but whatever, I was in a rush so I said I'd just keep it for an extra day. No one says anything.

At 7.56am the day before I am due to bring the car back I receive a call telling me my car is due back in 4 minutes. 4. Minutes. I could have been hundreds of miles away. After speaking to the manager over the phone and explaining the situation he is insistent that this is what I agreed to. Fortunately, I wasn't far away so I brought the car back in 30 mins and had it out with the manager (again) who still insisted that I agreed to this verbally. Why would anyone agree to pay for 7 days but bring it back in 6?!

The staff had 3 opportunities to explain the 7 day minimum and the day it was actually due back, but no one said a word. Absolutely useless staff (manager in particular) who will do their best to misrepresent the terms and conditions. Avoid at all costs.

Google Bad Review (2):  Bit more to it than that tho isn't there? id been renting for 10 months and payment was 2 days late which I take full responsibility for it was simply an oversight no contact had been made you simply used the tracker to come and seize vehicle from outside my house with my property inside and failed to tell me so left me thinking van had been stolen also failed to mention the 3 vans I had to return over those 10 months due to being mot failures

Google Bad Review 1:  Horrible, every van they gave me (about 5 before I gave up asking) stank of urine, I needed one to move things between houses but there was no chance I was putting anything into one of meashams self drive vans because it would all come out stinking of animal poo and wee. Plus there are so any hidden charges I didn't realise until it was too late, complete rip off and such poor quality, I would strongly advise to go anywhere else in London for a rental

Google Bad Review (2):  I've used this firm a couple of times and had no problems. Over New Year, I needed a car and had always found them to be good – and value for money – so used them again. The Ford Focus I was given had seen better days and had a few dents and scratches on it. When I returned the car, they found a new scratch on the rear passenger door. The scratch was no bigger than an inch, there was no other sign of damage and I have no idea how it happened. The guy I returned it to acknowledged that it was probably someone else who had caused the damage, but advised that he would call me the following Monday to let me know if there was any cost. No call came on Monday and on Tuesday I noticed that my deposit had not been refunded and they were trying to take an extra £53 from my account. I called back and was told that I was being charged £253 for a scratch! Admittedly, I hadn't noticed in the small print that the excess was £750, but this damage was not caused by me and they have now charged me an extortionate amount. Steer well clear.
