Google Bad Review 1:  I've had to move a golf weekend from last year multiple times due to covid. On the last rearrangement I did, the dates in April were more costly so I paid extra. I have now had to move again to August and the rates are cheaper. Now I only discovered they were cheaper from someone going on the trip checking the prices. I then asked for the difference and was told I could only get account credit, no refund allowed. So I then asked for a full refund cancellation and this was refused and said I could only cancel with all monies lost. In the end I was getting short shrifty emails from them. I said if that's how they want to behave then I'll leave it as is and they will receive no future business from me or my party. To sum up their reply, frankly they don't care one bit.

Google Good Review:  Going on holiday should be one of the most exciting times of the year and for our family is looked forward to very much with great anticipation. However, they can tend to get a bit stressful during the run up and especially on the day of travel.Last year we approached Totstoo after a good friend had recommended them, they specialise in luxury holidays for families which sounded perfect. We work hard all year and when it comes to our family holiday we go all out or try to. But I am a little OCD and I spend way too much time looking at hundreds of hotels and reading every review on TripAdvisor etc. I can’t help it but honestly it gets too much, so much data out there you can talk yourself out of what could and probably is a fantastic holiday and then miss out on the better prices because I have spent 3-4 months choosing somewhere. So, after speaking to Neil and told him what we were looking for which were; ‘luxury, Mexico (not Cancun), all inclusive, great food, plenty of kids activities, great beach and business class with British Airways. The same day he had found several great options but 1 that we loved the look of was Grand Velas in Riviera Maya. This hotel is a 5* AAA diamond resort with what is considered by many as the best All-inclusive in Riviera Maya more of which I will go on to later in detail. This whole process took me, very little time and Neil was great, he listened and delivered the exact holiday we were looking for. So that’s day 1 we found our dream holiday with all our criteria met. Then came the little extras that pushed their service to the next level. Neil and the team at Totstoo had booked private car transfers, booked our internal flight transfers from Edinburgh to Gatwick and sorted the hotel in Edinburgh for the night before. This meant come travel day we casually drove up enjoying the beautiful coastal scenery to Edinburgh, checked in the the Hilton Double Tree which was great and got some food before getting an early night for the next day. This immediately was a huge game changers as there were no arguments in the car or rushing around as we had a 2 minute drive the multi-story car park the next morning. From the initial enquiry to boarding our flight and getting to the resort it felt like we were being carried by Totstoo on a cloud of champagne dew and rainbows. Their app just made things so easy and kept us up to date with flights etc. and had all our travel documents in one place. Totstoo don’t just find you a nice holiday they create an experience that you couldn’t create yourself as they remove all the headaches and stress. It was a bonus we saved money booking with them but honestly even if I didn’t I wouldn’t book with anyone else again.

Google Bad Review (2):  We did the Windsor Stonehenge Oxford tour. Our guide Mannon was awesome. The tour itself left much to be desired. It is the quintessential hectic busy tour everyone is warned against. Unsurprisingly, if you examine reviews for the Evan Evan's site and this tour in particular , you'll find after the fact that there really isn't a review option for this tour. Which essentially means they know this tour is bunk and are intentionally misrepresenting the feedback. The tour starts at 8:00 am and ends about 8:00 pm. 1. The Bus toilets are not to be used 2. No hot drink or ever been warmed food allowed on bus. 3. The stops are timed so that you have time to use the restroom, eat, gift shop OR do the actual tour . 4. At Windsor by the time you get into the actual Windsor grounds, past security, you are told you have 20-25 minutes to return to the bus. You are told to get food and restroom at this stop because you'll have less time the rest of the day. No photos are allowed. 5. At Stonehenge, you're led directly to the bus line, once in that line you are told where the restrooms are- you may get out of the line at that point but are again warned if you miss the bus to the site- there's a 30 minute walk to the site or wait for another bus but again you have 20 minutes- the gist of it is you will again speed walk your way through and rush back to the tour bus (because they will leave you).6. We arrive in Oxford at 5:45 and begin a short walking tour. No bathrooms here. Unless you buy food and eat at a restaurant- again forcing you to choose between meeting basic human needs and taking the tour you paid for. Ultimately there was not time to walk into a library or see the quad because it's closing time. You got hustled to walk on a sidewalk.
Bottom line the tour takes you to the places you want to go but then deprives you of the purpose of your travel
