I personally didn’t like this tour. I found the guides comments really frustrating. He had interesting views on women, relationships and sex workers. He referred to children being prostitures ( which isn’t actually a thing).
Also, referred to Jewish people owning supermarkets, and founders of fish and chips. Jewish people are people who identity of that faith. It’s like saying a Christian or Muslim person owns a store. It’s irrelevant. Jewish people are from all over the world. He then asked us a question, about what country a particular victim was from, and a lady answered Jewish! I was gobsmacked, I told her Jewish wasn’t a country!
There wasn’t a lot of information about Jack the Ripper and found the information was more about London, and the UK. Some parts were interesting but I’ve heard other tours are way more interesting and will give you more information about Jack the Ripper and the victims!
The other downside is there was over 60 people at the tour. That is huge, and he started talking when people hadn’t crossed the road yet or caught up. People missed information and some people left early that couldn’t hear. The tour should be capped, as it wasn’t fair that so much information was being missed.
