Google Reviewer 1, Name (Bad Review):  Kerrie McKenna

Google Bad Review 1:  Dr Akram is an unprofessional dentist and I would not recommend attending this or the other puresmile branch in Fulham (I was treated at both).
I went as an NHS patient and they refused to clean my teeth and said this wasn’t offered even though he recommend I go and see their private hygenisit. He pushed me to pay for the most expensive crown on the market as it was ‘the best option with it being a back tooth and would last triple the time a normal crown would’. I went for this option, once completed he tried to charge me an extra £240+ On top of already paying an extra £900 for the crown, the £240+ was not explained when we went through everything beforehand.
The crown has not been fitted properly and huge lumps of food get stuck which I cannot even get out with a toothpick it has to be floss, so in result I have to carry around floss daily (this is over 7 months on and still having the issue) he refuses to rectify his bad workmanship.
What a waste of money.
Stay away from this dentist would be my advice.

Google Reviewer 2, Name (Bad Review):  caroline butler

Google Bad Review (2):  Sales man! For the same price I can get far better treatment in Harley street. I had a hunch when I met the dentist (rest of staff are lovely including hygienist) but don't rely or trust the dentist. Honestly, I have had enough treatment and his was substandard/prolonged including a ludicrous quote of what was unnecessary treatment despite me explaining circumstances. Having worked in finance for long enough with sales people I should have trusted my instincts. I have now come to my senses having giving one chance at treatment and gone back to Harley St! Don't fall for it! And at least I have done my bit and warned you.

Google Bad Review 1:  Everything has changed to negatives at Manchester Square. Then you get increased charges. Interesting!!

Google Reviewer 2, Name (Bad Review):  Pyry Takala

Google Bad Review (2):  They are very nice. But seemed to me unfortunately incompetent and putting commercial interest ahead of patient. Or perhaps I got unlucky.

Why do I say this? They misdiagnosed my arrested caries for a cavity. Consequently they wanted to perform operations for nearly £500, incl drilling which would be completely unnecessary and long term much worse for my teeth. Luckily I decided to get a second opinion before going ahead! They gave me also cookie-cutter advice on brushing and for buying extremely expensive toothbrushes that had nothing to do with improving my tooth situation. Their checkup and hygienist services were also significantly more expensive than in other places in London.

Id recommend heading elsewhere.

Google Reviewer 1, Name (Bad Review):  Marc D

Google Bad Review 1:  The service for hygiene is average, pretty standard 30 minutes. But prices are 60% higher than other Bupas (£80 vs £50)for example the one in the city (near London wall). So definitely not worth it. No reason to go there with those prices!

Google Reviewer 2, Name (Bad Review):  Michael Jacobi

Google Bad Review (2):  My appointment for a routine check up began 30 minutes late (they barely apologised), and after a brief inspection I was told that I would need to revist them another EIGHT times to have a wide number of fillings and procedures done.

This was unexpected, as I'd been to another Bupa clinic previously for many years, and had had routine inspections there (the last one being just 3 months before this appointment) that hadn't spotted any issues. I also floss and brush regularly, and wasn't experiencing any tooth ache.

I found it pretty suspicious and it seemed like they were trying to get more money out of me for unnecessary procedures (and looking at the other reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one who experienced this). I won't be going back.

Google Reviewer 2, Name (Bad Review):  Maria Reinsky

Google Bad Review (2):  This organisation is awful! Truly, anyone who is a busy person and may want to move the appointment will not get their money back and will be charged as if it's a cancellation. The staff will not work with you and won't even care enough the customer experience to be nice about it. Awful experience and if your looking for a laser treatment look elsewhere they are not worth it and you will be majorly disappointed.

Google Reviewer 1, Name (Bad Review):  J Banson

Google Bad Review 1:  I went to Dr Chan with very high hopes. My initial consultation was positive, I was assured a white smile and payment details were explained to me. On the day of the treatment however, I barely had any face time with him. He took an impression of my mouth then took payment and sent me away whilst my whitening mouth guard was made. On my return, I was dealt with by his assistant who explained the home care procedure hurriedly to me (only remembering to mention certain details on my way out) – not quite the service I was expecting for the cost! but I remained undeterred because I felt sure the treatment would work. Over the next 3 weeks I watched dejectedly as my teeth colour didn't change. On the follow up appointment Dr Chan compared my before and after pictures and declared that I'd gone up almost 9 shades. I was aghast. From the pictures the difference was almost non existent. He explained that he could do an additional treatment for me at an added cost of £200 which I politely declined. He then offered me a complimentary in chair power whitening session and a further 2 weeks of home care treatment, which I thought was kind and accepted. I am currently halfway through the additional treatment and have still seen no change. It's a real shame as I so wanted to be one of the reviewers on here gushing about my ‘lovely white results' but unfortunately it hasn't been effective

Google Reviewer 2, Name (Bad Review):  L- B-

Google Bad Review (2):  Had my teeth done last year and although initially there was a nice difference a year later my teeth are exactly as they were before. If I wanted a temporary difference I would have just bought cheap whitening products not paid 600 pounds. The team is very nice there but I do feel a disappointed in my result.

Google Good Review:  I was very happy for the result, I would highly recommend Dr Wyman Chan to anyone who is looking to get their teeth whitened. He and his team are amazing, friendly and professional!

Google Bad Review 1:  I consider 20 minutes not enough for a proper teeth cleaning. Living in the US I got used to the American standards where hygienists spend at least 45 minutes with each patient. No wonder the American smile is unbeatable.

Google Reviewer 2, Name (Bad Review):  SAR

Google Bad Review (2):  An example of assembly line healthcare managed by robotic droids. Awful Reception staff.

Having been a patient at the clinic for more than three years with regular bi-monthly hygiene visits I had called the clinic for an appointment the other day. I was told I needed to pay a deposit of 30 pounds to secure the appointment. I did not have my card handy and asked them to book my appointment and indicated I would call later. I was unable to call later but when I did call first thing next morning I was told the appointment had been cancelled as I had not paid the deposit before the end of the day.
A minor event but it is reflective of the overwhelmingly greed and money centric private dental care in the UK. I mean at the very least the clinic could call a patient and say : “Hey we haven't received your deposit can you please pay if you wish to retain the appointment”. Especially considering it's a patient who has been visiting for three years. Basically expect zero courtesy or consideration even if you have been a patient for years and spent a thousand plus.
They do have a competent and friendly dentist and an excellent hygienist but the reception and manager team needs training in etiquette and common courtesy.

Google Bad Review (2):  STAY AWAY!!!
I visited this dentist in 2016, looking to have invisilign treatment. I then received a quote for the treatment, the fixed and removal retainers and two front veneers. Unfortunately I decided to begin my treatment at this dentist, it was a nightmare from the very beginning. I was experiencing some pain during the treatment so seeked a second opinion from a local dental surgery who told me the attachments had been fitted incorrectly and it was causing issues with my gums which of course I then had to pay the other dentist for, the fixed retainer was fitted incorrectly causing more gum problems so another dentist also had to remove and replace it. The veneers were also not attached correctly and were a completely different colour to my teeth. On the final day of my treatment the practice asked for me to again for the veneers and retainers claiming that I hadn’t paid however this was all included in the initial quote. Subsequently they will not provide any after care again meaning I have had to pay to visit a different practice.
WORST DENTISTS EVER!!

Google Good Review:  Dr. Saeed was my regular dentist when I lived in London. He was a professional, talented, honest and a kind individual. His assistant Myra is also the nicest person you will meet too. His office has a top of the line technology including print-your-tooth at the spot, what?! I was amazed by this new tech. I never felt any pain for any dental work cause he is highly skilled, I love that he was educated in Sweden and use all the highend German technology. I always have a good chat with him when I go for my semi-annual hygiene visit, we would talk about from saving the planet to world issues: environmental issues, electric cars and etc. He is a vegan too. He is truly a great human being with a gentle soul. If we ever go back to London, I will be sure to visit for routine. If you need a dentist with private insurance or even pay out of your pocket, look no further. Thanks Dr. Saeed and Myra for taking care of my husband and I all these years.

Google Bad Review 1:  I got a Groupon for a scale and polish, the dentist that took my call was very unfriendly once knowing I was a Groupon customer and was being difficult with giving me at appointment!..I was given 1 option for over a months wait!!.. on arrival i was made to wait over 30 mins even though the previous patient had left 30 mins ago, I was again asked to prove my Groupon purchase which I had already emailed over as requested, again the dentist was being difficult on purpose, the scale and polish wasn’t done to well, after treatment I was given a bill of £££ hundreds worth of dental work!.. when only the week before I had had my regular check up With my family dentist and had no problems!.. funny how she was able to give me a appointment immediately for this extra charge! AVOID!!!

Google Reviewer 2, Name (Bad Review):  alphafo alphaf

Google Bad Review (2):  Got a dental abscess after visit.
“Scale & Polish”… Beforehand I had NO dental work, now issues and £££… says a lot. Hygiene and technique (rushed). Cheap vs quality healthcare.
