Google Bad Review 1:  I am extremely unhappy with this place.

Nearly 3 weeks ago, I had some laser hair removal treatment done here by the manager Toni, and she went over part of my tattoo!

I wasn't sure at first, but then I came up with a deep sore which then scabbed inwards.

This has still not healed and will inevitably leave a scar and has ruined my tattoo.

When I went back, the manager was extremely rude to me, denying all claims, even with clear evidence and proceeded to blame my aftercare!

I am outraged and would never return, nor can I recommend anyone entrusting these people with anyone. The only downfall here, is that laser treatment is not regulated when done by anyone else other than professional nurses and doctors, so who can I complain to?

Google Bad Review (2):  I accompanied my girlfriend, who had some waxing done. This was her 3rd time there and the previous experiences have been generally positive. Legs (all good there) and eyebrows… she got burned and we’re now hoping she won’t get a scar right on the face. Clearly whoever did the waxing couldn’t be bothered to check the temperature. Now we’ll have to look for a dermatologist – thank you!
Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Ever. To anyone.

Google Bad Review 1:  I'm very disappointed with the care we've had to experience from this clinic over the last five months. If you read my earlier review, you'll notice that I expressed about HOA's excellent service, however I retract that statement. The clinic's treatment is far from five-star, and the customer service is appalling. I'll go into some depth about what I've encountered with HOA on several occasions, as well as what my family has had to deal with.

My mum arrived for her micro-needling treatment today, expecting Hava to perform her facial, but she was told by reception that she no longer performs this type of treatment. My mother was disappointed since she had expected Hava to perform her treatment. When I called reception to inform them of my mums experience, the receptionist assured me that the new clinician has a lot of experience and that my mother will be in good hands. I responded by saying I'd tell my mum to come over and try her treatment with someone else. The receptionist then mentioned that the clinician is unable to do the treatment at this time, and that your mother must reschedule because she is 8 minutes late. I was astounded by her response because, first and foremost, it was HOA's fault that the treatment was delayed because they failed to phone my mother before to her appointment to inform her of the situation. Second, I've received multiple treatments from them and have had to wait more than 45 minutes to be seen. I was also scheduled for a laser treatment at 09.30 a.m., but the clinic didn't open until 10:00 a.m., and I didn't get seen until 10.15 a.m.!!!! I also sent them an email over a month ago and addressed it to the manager Lee to formally complain about what I experience, but no one responded.

Google Bad Review (2):  I had an awful experience with this clinic. I had Morpheus8, and it was the most painful procedure I have ever experienced and I have also been left with jowls!! When I complained to Lee the manager he was not prepared to give me any money back and tried to offer me different treatments instead. I refused any other treatments and said I would take it further, so eventually and very reluctantly he decided to give me a small percent back. I asked for proof of how long the Practitioner had been doing the certain treatment but he wasn’t prepared to disclose that information, all he said was “she’s been in the Business for 25 years” I am so unhappy with my results and feel I have been robbed of my money. When people have these treatments they are supposed to look better not worse! What I will say is the team are excellent sales people and will sell you as much treatments and products as they possibly can. I wish I’d never went to this clinic ( and I only did as it was local) and I just hope that it will help others reading this review to not fall for the sales patter and do your research. Awful experience

Google Bad Review 1:  I was very disappointed and upset with the staff and service at HCMedspa.  I asked for an eyebrow clean up with wax and thread however their beautician began threading my eyebrow beyond the touch up line to the point where she made them very thin and completely changed the shape.  This colleague did not apologise nor admit to their fault. A senior member of staff and another beutician then came to inspect my eyebrow and confirmed that the beautician had demolished my eyebrow. In order to create a symmetrical look I had to have my other eyebrow ammended in which it was made more thinner.  When I complained to HCmedspa head office about this I got a very rude reply that was not helpful nor apologetic. I was left feeling angry and dissatisfied that a professional place had such inadequate poor staff.  I was a regular client that went this clinc but would necer go back there again after this unpleasent experience.

Google Bad Review (2):  If you are looking to get rid of hyper-pigmentation do not waste your time here. Not only will you have your time wasted when they don't listen properly, they will try to up-sell you treatments that are completely unnecessary. I have given a recommendation below of how I got rid of my melasma on my upper lip.

I contacted to ask for a quote for laser removal of some hyper-pigmentation on my upper lip. I was given a quote that I could afford and so I traveled from South London. I was kept waiting for over half an hour, and then when I was seen they thought I was there for laser hair removal. My enquiry email was pretty clear, and straight away I felt it was likely they pretend to have mix ups to get people through the door.

After being seen by the first person I waited another half hour to see someone who dealt with hyper-pigmentation. They said a laser would not be successful which is fine. They suggested a £900 face peel which was nearly 9 times the cost of what I was originally quoted. When I said I could have saved myself a long trip and a wasted hour if they had read my email properly, they just carried on hard selling it to me.

The consultants keep giving me further and further discounts on treatment I don't want. I've since emailed to ask for a small 15% discount off another treatment by way of apology. We have been emailing now for months. I've explained I no longer need the hyper-pigmentation treatment but every email back is still trying to sell it to me.

They had an option to resolve things and make money from me via another treatment. I've been pretty reasonable and calm despite a lot of frustrating emails back and forth. What annoys me the most is I can see how little they care.

For anyone who has melasma that they wish to fade, you can talk to the assistants at The Ordinary (or other retailers exist). I spent about £30 on Vitamin C, Niacinamide 10 + zinc 1, Azelaic Acid and a factor 50 suncreen. It's been 3 months and I can barely see it anymore. Obviously seek proper advice on how to work these into your routine safely, and save your self a great deal of money.

Google Bad Review 1:  I have had one of the worst experiences at this clinic due to their very poor customer service and quality of services generally. I came to D&S for the Invisalign treatment in May and went through the preliminary checkups. From the outset, I informed Dr Patel of my frequent travel dates due to work and he assured me that he will be able to accommodate them without disrupting the course of treatment – which has been calculated to be 10 weeks. I also let him know that I will be leaving London mid August and that it is imperative that the treatment is done by then. He also assured me that the time frame of the treatment calculated will begin and end in time and will be done in a way as to not be interrupted by my frequent work trips. That did NOT happen. Weeks have passed since my first aligner fitting appointment and I have not been contacted by the clinic to even give me an idea of when the treatment is planned to start. Naturally, I was only informed of the arrival of the invisilign aligners whilst abroad and that the delay was caused by the courier company. I informed the clinic of my arrival date – which unfortunately had set me 3 weeks behind schedule. Upon my return, I have been waiting to be given an appointment with Dr Patel and I only got to see him 2 weeks later. Which means that in total, I have been 5 weeks behind schedule. When I met Dr Patel, he tried to convince and reassure me to begin the treatment, and that it will be safe for me to condense it to 7 weeks!!!!!!!!! Whilst knowing that the treatment will end with me abroad, he tried to deflect his clinic's responsibility of my treatment by trying to convince me to have my aligner tags be taken out by another clinic based abroad. Basically, his clinic has charged me FULL PRICE for the invislign treatment whilst falling short of the services they HAVE PROMISED to provide me. I will seek legal action against this clinic but this is a word of caution to anyone who is interested in their services. Also, I found it very unusual that they constantly have new front house/admin staff who are clueless of their clients and do not respond to emails (surprise surprise: have not responded to ANY of my emails requesting refund)

Google Bad Review (2):  I visited this dentist and was recommended another service which I pre paid for. Three months later when I was leaving my second appointment I was informed I needed to pay and although I told them I already had they then told me of the £60 worth of additional charges for things I hadn’t been informed or asked about. I disagreed because I’d already paid the original agreed amount but I couldn’t be bothered to argue so I paid again. I never agreed to be in their newsletter yet they persistently emailed me asking for google reviews and offered services. I emailed asking to be removed from the data base because there was no unsubscribe button. In may when by LAW they were supposed to remove anyone who did not resubcrube (when I had never originally subscribed) and they still emailed me. I replied reminding them this and telling them I would finally leave that review they hassle clients for. Here it is. Terrible service, in transparent fees and emails you didn’t ask for.

I paid for a ‘deal' upfront and then we had the covid restrictions which did not allow me to get my laser done. Google Bad Review (2):  Waste of money and time. I went with old surgical scars and was promised ‘improvement’ with their Laser Palomar Icon. It was not true. The single treatments were spread 6 weeks apart each and I had 3 of them in total; despite some skin shedding, I didn’t see any improvement at ALL. The photos they have on their website are of course a marketing trick to lure more people. It was a year ago and the scars are the same as they were before. Also, in this building there are several different businesses doing practically the same things; they pretend they don’t know themselves.

In case you have not realized, CUSTOMERS PAYED their treatments in advance and the least you could do is do your job which you're getting paid for! Also have not seen any improvement on the treatment. Google Bad Review 1:  I'm very disappointed with the care we've had to experience from this clinic over the last five months. If you read my earlier review, you'll notice that I expressed about HOA's excellent service, however I retract that statement. The clinic's treatment is far from five-star, and the customer service is appalling. I'll go into some depth about what I've encountered with HOA on several occasions, as well as what my family has had to deal with.

My mum arrived for her micro-needling treatment today, expecting Hava to perform her facial, but she was told by reception that she no longer performs this type of treatment. My mother was disappointed since she had expected Hava to perform her treatment. When I called reception to inform them of my mums experience, the receptionist assured me that the new clinician has a lot of experience and that my mother will be in good hands. I responded by saying I'd tell my mum to come over and try her treatment with someone else. The receptionist then mentioned that the clinician is unable to do the treatment at this time, and that your mother must reschedule because she is 8 minutes late. I was astounded by her response because, first and foremost, it was HOA's fault that the treatment was delayed because they failed to phone my mother before to her appointment to inform her of the situation. Second, I've received multiple treatments from them and have had to wait more than 45 minutes to be seen. I was also scheduled for a laser treatment at 09.30 a.m., but the clinic didn't open until 10:00 a.m., and I didn't get seen until 10.15 a.m.!!!! I also sent them an email over a month ago and addressed it to the manager Lee to formally complain about what I experience, but no one responded.

Google Bad Review (2):  I had an awful experience with this clinic. I had Morpheus8, and it was the most painful procedure I have ever experienced and I have also been left with jowls!! When I complained to Lee the manager he was not prepared to give me any money back and tried to offer me different treatments instead. I refused any other treatments and said I would take it further, so eventually and very reluctantly he decided to give me a small percent back. I asked for proof of how long the Practitioner had been doing the certain treatment but he wasn’t prepared to disclose that information, all he said was “she’s been in the Business for 25 years” I am so unhappy with my results and feel I have been robbed of my money. When people have these treatments they are supposed to look better not worse! What I will say is the team are excellent sales people and will sell you as much treatments and products as they possibly can. I wish I’d never went to this clinic ( and I only did as it was local) and I just hope that it will help others reading this review to not fall for the sales patter and do your research. Awful experience

Google Bad Review 1:  When I first read about cool sculpting I was excited to try as the reviews on this clinic were very good and also the price was better than places like Harley St. It has been two months since my initial fat freeze under my chin and I have seen 0 difference. I had very little fat under my chin and Maryam did say she thought 1 session would be enough. I think Maryam was lovely and she did tell me that she could not promise a definite change however I went along with it due to good reviews. I am not saying it doesn't work for everybody but It just did not work for me. I wanted to write this review as online the reviews paint a picture of it working for everyone.

Google Bad Review (2):  Please be careful and don’t get deceived by a professional looking website.

I had veinwave on my legs over 2 month ago, spent £550 and can honestly say I had ZERO improvement!!

As a qualified practitioner Maryam should have made me aware that this treatment might not achieve the desired results, or might not even be suitable for me. If she had followed her ethical conduct, she would have treated just 1 area to see if it actually works, but not encourage me to do 4 sessions in one go, so she would get maximum financial gain.

I also didn’t appreciate that she offered other expensive treatments to me I actually never asked for, and showing pictures on her mobile phone of other patients revealing their identity – this is extremely unprofessional in a business where confidentiality is key!

Maryam does not take any responsibility and will ignore you if you are not happy with the results.
