Google Bad Review 1:  Went to Action on June 21st to have water tested. This was the third time this week as their system was down on the 19th and I wanted a retest after the 2nd test and subsequent treatment. Have previously used their service as it tells me how much of a particular chemical to purchase and use. Very helpful and always had a good experience. After the test, unfortunately the test results were lost from their system for my pool. I probably had a bit of a frustrated look on my face as I didn't want to make a 4th trip. She told me it was a free service and that the PH reading was high, but didn't have the specifics. I told her that the purpose is to understand how much chemical I needed to add. She once again stated it's free and I said yes, but this how you sell product as well. This set her off. There was also another customer waiting next to me during the interaction and I looked at him as I was speaking and she said don't look at him. Look at her. I tried to purchase a couple of items and she basically said she would not sell those to me. Although I'm not a huge $ customer, I have spent about $1,000 at the store over the past year. She was probably having a bad day, but they have also lost a customer. Yes the testing is free, but I always buy something. Nothing is really free, just recovered in the sales of their products. Don't know if this person was the owner or just an employee, but not a good example of customer experience.

Google Bad Review (2):  Terrible customer servive and very rude an judgemental before i had even got out of my car the owner very rudley told me to move my car or she was going to calk the cops i was sitting in my car finishing a song that i was litening to ( my stero system is pretty loud i get it) but instead of asking me to turn it down or letting me know this is for customer's parking she came at me like that so for that this place deserves lowestest rateing possible. I was goin to give tgis place a try but am more then happy to take my money elsewhere

Carroll County Pools has a couple Ripoff artists working for them named Colby & Hunter…
I contacted Carroll County Pools the first week of March to do a liner replacement & step repair on my inground / indoor pool.
Colby & Hunter showed up March 16th to assess the job
After looking at the job they said if we booked the job thru CC Pools they probably would not be able to install the custom liner that I already purchased. And booking the job thru CC Pools they most likely could not  get us scheduled till mid June anyway.
Colby & Hunter then offered to come do the job on their day off for (cash)…..
with CC Pools full knowledge……
We agreed on Twenty Fine Hundred Dollars & April 10 & 11 to complete the job.
They didn't show up till after noon on the 10th an didn't finish on the11th, and had to
come back April 12th …..
After waiting for the step paint to dry we filled the pool & immediately knew their was a BIG leak around the step where the liner had a  couple (stretch tears) one below the steps & another one below a return port…
After repeated attempts to contact  Ripoff artists Colby & Hunter with (no call back) I even offered a additional Five Hundred to get them back to fix the leak….
After several weeks texting & calling Colby & Hunter, I called Jason & Kris @ CC Pools on May 5th..
I explain my concerns to them and
They both openly admitted they were aware that Colby & Hunter did our job for cash, using the company's van & equipment, Jason & Kris both assured me that we were not being ripped off and they would have Colby & Hunter call me to arrange a time to fix their mistakes…
I called CC Pools every other day for two weeks to let Kris & Jason know that I still hadn't  received a call back from Colby or  Hunter… The office said each time that they would contact Colby & Hunter right then, and have them call me..
(I HEARD NOTHING…!)
I called the office one last time on May 25th before posting this review & Jason said Hunter was in the office  & put him on the phone with me & he assured me that he would he and Colby would call me the next day & set up a time to come and complete my job…
It's now June 16th & I still haven't heard from CC Pools or the Ripoff crew that took our money & ran….

I contact a reputable pool company (right in the middle of POOL OPENING Season ) to fix the problems they created…..!
The reputable company (with honest employees) was here & fixed their incompetence two days later…
These Clowns Totally Screwed us out of $2,500 dollars….!!!

I'm also filing a complaint with the BB  Bureau.

Reluctant to pay up front for a hot tub (they don't take credit cards etc – covering themselves) if they can't even get the first bit right. Guy on phone didn't seem bothered. “Oh yes, just about to call you this minute” finished with okaaaay doke you'll hear from us soon!
