Google Bad Review 1:  We were convinced by one of the guys outside promising us free drinks during dinner and a set menu for 12 pounds each. Even after confirming with him that every drink will be free we received a bill of around 25 each person in which were include 13 pound for drinks.

As we told the guy outside before entering and later on to the staff any other non license bar in brick lane allow you to bring your own drinks from the shop. We could buy any bottle of wine for five quid and avoid paying that much if we were informed correctly.

In other terms the staff was rude during dinner and the portions were small for the average.

Avoid this place.

Google Bad Review (2):  I have been to Cinnamon and Aladdin (same kitchen) three times and have been ripped off every time. We agree on a price before we go in and then they add on extras and charge ridiculous amounts for popadoms. If you are in a big group they will try and tell you one of you hasn't paid the bill. Con artists! What kind of restaurant needs bouncers? One that rips people off every day. Food is decent, the people are not.

Google Bad Review 1:  Booked a table for 7.45pm on Saturday. Arrived on time, and we were taken to a table downstairs where we were ignored by staff for 20 minutes. We weren't given a menu or asked if we even wanted drinks.

We left after twenty minutes, and the waiters on the way out even had the cheek to thank us for our custom without bothering to ask why we'd left having ordered nothing.

Went down the road to another restaurant where we were seated with menus and drinks in front of us within 5 minutes. Won't be back here, sorry.

Google Bad Review 1:  Portions are small , jalfrezi king prawn is just a soup with very little bulk, ie vegetables , and Chinese takeaway size king prawns . Dupeizia is devoid of king prawn just FIVE , YES FIVE SMALL PRAWNS , I ordered a mushroom garlic as a main , it arrived as a side size . NOT impressed . stay well clear . I always wondered why this place never had customers sitting in the resteraunt when I walked past . Ohh well now I know why .

Google Bad Review (2):  Used to come here years ago. Gone downhill. Inedible lamb which took minutes to chew. Undercooked unseasoned naan. Oily brinjal bhaji. My girlfriend's prawns were okay flavour wise but over cooked. Sag ponir was bland and tasteless. Tried to get a glass of water for about 10 minutes at the end of the meal as well and then gave up. The service is nearly as bad as the food. Avoid! Shame as this place used to be so good.

Google Bad Review 1:  I used to eat in this establishment a year or so ago and go to dinner with my Mum. We regularly go to Dawat in Blackfen as the food and service there is impeccable. However we decided to try this place for old times sake. The food is bland, the staff are rude and the place is a joke. You should avoid this restaurant at all costs. My most disappointing Indian meal ever. What a waste of money. Don't go here and go to Dawat. Period.

Google Bad Review (2):  We just live near this area and thought of trying this place and took a take away just few items as it was a trial.
Just few roti, chana masala and veg fried rice.
Apart from Veg fried rice all were good.
The oil was very smelly and couldn't eat the fried rice. The oil tasted, as if the oil was used from the pakoda or bhaji pan.
I tried contacting the restaurant to inform them, even though it was a small order because I just wanted to let them know.
And he is saying nobody has complaint in last 30 yrs. It may not be true. So I just wanted update it here. So at least they know someone is not happy and written it.
