Google Bad Review 1: This is the most unprofessional real estate I’ve ever dealt with.
I had an appointment 4 pm with one Agent: Gary Irwin and it was confirmed by email.
Actually I came earlier 10 minutes and he started shouting and yelling at me and my family. I was shocked! He didn’t give me a chance even to talk! He was mixing up with me and another customer which was supposed to meet him at 3.30 pm. I had just to let him finishing his yelling at me and my family then he realized that and came back telling me show me the email so rudely!
So I just had to leave their office and I sent a complaint to the company (contact us) page. After one hour or so I received an apology from that agent in one sentence“sorry for this misunderstanding”. That’s it! Not even bothering themselves to call me back and apologize about it in a proper way or arrange another appointment with someone else more professional. Well just to let you know, your apologies are not accepted and I will make sure everyone from my side knows about how you treated us.

Google Bad Review (2): So if you want to meat rude staff this is the right place, and of course they won’t have any respect to either families or individuals and no matter what you say or what you do.

Earlier today, we went for a viewing and we booked an appointment at the place where we supposed to meet and see the flat. However, there was this guy Gary; when we first arrived at the reception and before we even talk, he started shouting and yelling at us telling us “appointments are no joke!” Although we came early! And then he mixed us up with other people then kept shouting and raising his voice rudely at me and my family. I do not know what was wrong with him but I do know he was the most impolite person I have ever met.

they took a £1000 deposit on a flat they refused to give the address of, they then immediately after receipt of the deposit informed us that the flat was not available for the dates required. they then refuse to refund the money. We will be taking them to the small claims courts.

Google Bad Review (2): We stayed at Minerva Court on Bowling Green Lane. It was a less than satisfactory experience. Traffic noise and late night partying was very loud. We are a family of four and they gave us only 2 rolls of toilet paper and 1 bar of miniature soap for the 5 days we stayed. The location is too far from a major Tube line which required train changes to get to the heart of London. The internet connection was weak and for 23 Pounds, only one device could be used at a time. Some of the appliances and lamps were too far away from the minimal outlets to be of use. There was a pot to heat water for instant coffee but no outlet in the kitchen to use. Clerkenwell is a nice neighborhood on the outskirts of the tourist areas of London, but we would recommend finding a more hospitable place to stay. The people at the leasing office (Acorn) were all very helpful.

Google Bad Review (2): I hired airlinen for the cleaning and laundry hire for my AirBNB property. We lasted 6 appointments before I had to cancel their services. On 5 of the 6 appointments the cleaner was late and this impacted my guests' arrival on several occasions. On 2 of those occasions the cleaner was over 4 hours late! Whilst the cleaning was to a good standard the inability to work to the required time slots completely jeopardised my business and airbnb rating. I advise other hosts to avoid this company at all costs.

I previously left a 5 star review of this company because I thought the owner of the business cared about putting things right but I spoke far too soon. He has now become unprofessional and unresponsive. The last email I had from Mr Blythe was almost a week ago, complaining I'd left him a negative review which I hadn't. He must have confused me with another unhappy tenant. But I am doing so now in sheer frustration, because I am being ignored yet again We reported problems with water flow just before Christmas 2021. It is now June 2022 and we still have problems with water flow. During initial inspection a leak was found and we still have a leak to this day. Almost 6 months on. We've had alternating contractors attend because Storeys failed to pay the original contractor, no doubt incurring our landlord additional costs and causing unnecessary delays to repairs. The last visit was 3 weeks ago today and we are still waiting for an update on how this ongoing leak is going to be addressed. I have to chase these agents continually and when they do actually respond, they are selective in the issues they reply to. I note another tenant referred to this company as STORIES, which I think is quite appropriate given the story Mr Blythe told me. I will delete this review when I finally receive an appropriate level of service from a company who is being paid to manage the property I call my home.

Google Bad Review (2): Perhaps the worst estate agents I've ever had to deal with during 21 years of living/renting in London.

Even before we moved into the flat they were managing, they routinely ‘misinformed' us about contact they had made with the landlord – however as we'd already met the landlord and he'd given us his number, it turned out upon speaking to him that no contact had been made at all.

During our 12 months at the property stay they proved to be equally as unreliable, despite having promised a first-class service to the landlord before he handed over a non-doubt not-insignificant lump of cash.

Hence the landlord and I decided that we'd manage any fixes, replacements and other issues directly between ourselves.

They were equally as ‘misleading' (if I were being cynical I'd say lying) when it came to leaving the property and managing the checkout inspection, landlord signoff and deposit return – yet more instances of several Storeys ‘managers' telling us they'd be in contact with the landlord to move things forward, only for a quick Whatsapp chat with the landlord to reveal that'd they'd done nothing of the sort.

I'm quite astounded by the number of positive reviews they've received on Google. Surely some mistake?

Google Bad Review 1: When you finally find the place, you understand why it's so cheap
On the good side, the location is great, or at least it was for us and the price was low, 200 pounds for 3 nights. Oh the fridge was big. That's also a good point and the guy who welcomed us the first night was nice, friendly and helpful.

Now should I really list the bad points?
No windows as it was a basement flat (that was not written on the site, hello claustrophobics).
The oven door was broken, the microwave a mess, the sink broken and leaking, the bed sinking, no hot water as the boiler was broken the first night and when it finally worked you couldn't regulate the heat… And what about the toilet, why stairs.. Oh yeah to avoid the bad smells, well geniuses, it didn't work…
The TV didn't function, our neighbours' though did, and we could hear them eating, walking, breathing loudly and…. Yay, what a funky place. Once we couldn't hear the neighbours, because people in the pub next wall were so loud…. Ah Britain, Britain on weekends.
