Google Bad Review 1:  I chose this hotel earlier this week. May 22-24th based off reviews, location, & a more modern feel.
Our room was very difficult for two men to get ready in. I can't imagine what it would be like for anyone else.
There's a few things that need adjustments. The rooms could have been designed more space efficient considering you and your partner might have full sized luggage.
The space between the foot of the bed and tv is an unnecessary bulky block that connects to the wall the same length of the bed. So if you sleep on the window side of this room, you have to step up to then get over to the other side of the bed. The TV sits on a very bulky wall shelf (entertainment center) so rather save space by mounting the flat screen to the wall, you have that protruding out about 6 inches towards the bed. Giving you less than 24 inches between where the bed ends and tv begins. Making even more unnecessary junk. Unnecessary bulky cupboards near the bed, 2 sinks… ?? 1 near the bed which we couldn't use because our luggage needed to go somewhere and around towards the door is a kitchen with sink. The bathroom door sticks out in the hall.. I hit that with my leg a couple times.
The room, (for the very small size) could have been designed better)
The standing shower clogged each use taking 10 mins to drain and mind you, it was only maybe 1 inch below the main floor so we had to throw towels everywhere to keep it from flooding too far. (The issue wasn't fixed when I told them the first day but they only apologized for) so we learned to get wet, turn the water off, soap up, rinse, turn the water off, soap up, rinse. It was annoying.. even barely using water, it would still flood.

Very strange the receptionist don't have a proper desk but are forced to stand in the middle of the narrow small lobby. Plenty of room for a small desk and chair.

Overall, I would stay in a more traditional hotel since it would most likely be the same size room. This “modern” decor was simply unnecessary.

Google Bad Review (2):  Fantastic location but for the price (c£230 per night) was unfortunately, not really worth it.
As for the hotel itself, it’s a new, high-tech and compact with some minor issues that we reported to them whilst staying there such as vanity sink lights not working etc (made wife’s makeup application resemble the Joker out of Batman ).
All in all, there are better cheaper hotels around if you look.

Google Bad Review (2):  After arriving back home, I realise they ripped me off. They offered me the choice “EUR or GBP” when I checked in. I chose Euro, because for me, it's easier. They did not tell me at the time that I would be charged a 3.5% surcharge IN ADDITION TO the not-the-best exchange rate. I wasn't informed of this when I was offered the choice, although I see now it stated on the receipt. I did not read the fine print on the receipt at the time.

When I checked out and received the final invoice, only the GBP amount is stated, not the actual EUR amount charged including conversion rate and surcharge.

I received no value for this payment, as the bank would have converted the money at a better rate in any case, without the 3.5% surcharge, so I can only conclude that:

Citadine deliberately duped me into an unnecessary charge, by taking advantage of my momentary inattention on arriving in a new city.

…makes me wonder what else they might get up to.

Google Bad Review 1:  the internet connection at this hotel was practically inexistent. many networks, all led to nowhere. but it was just a start — there were so many things wrong with this hotel.

first, everyone considering staying here should know that housekeeping is on weekly basis, not everyday. yes, you will only get the room cleaned if you stay more than 7 days! this info is placed somewhere obscure, among a list of things people dont generally read when they purchase hotel service.

secondly, the hotel seems to go out of their way to make things inconvenient so you will purchase additional service. need an adaptor? it's £5. not provided for guest comfort/convenience like in regular hotel. need your room cleaned? it's £15 for studio type, £20 for one-BR type.

third, the pillows stink. very strong smell of sweat. even cheaper hotels would have replaced such pillows.

one more thing, my whole room shook whenever the next door neighboor or cleaning service went in and out.

it was the worst experience i had at a hotel, especially becoz i could have much more comfortable alternative for half of the cost. i thought i was treating myself a nice spacious room. what i got was a small, dark room with rusty appliances.

Google Bad Review (2):  (Translated by Google) It is true the first time I live in an apartment, but its price is the price of a four-star hotel and I expected services to be delivered in it for the price I paid! At least he gave credibility to pictures! The pictures are bocking something, and the reality is something nice! The rooms are like and old, and the days are very old. The bathroom is separated from the bathtub, the bedrooms are very small.
The housekeeping muffin, the bell captain, the receptionist, have no experience at all and are very complicated, I don’t know what
I never recommend it. If you were planning to live in the bathroom, this is a round, so you will book a four-star hotel at the price of this one.

This is my first time in an apartment but for what i paid for i could've stayed in a 4 stars hotel, I was expecting a little service from this place but i got none at all! The photos does not resemble what the room actually look like and i did not paid for this!
no house keeping, no bell captain, inexperienced stuff and very complicated i don't no for what!
I wouldn't recommend it for anybody. if you're looking to stay in this thing look more closely you'll find a 4 star hotel for
the same price

This is my first time in an apartment but for what i paid for i could've stayed in a 4 stars hotel, I was expecting a little service from this place but i got none at all! The photos does not resemble what the room actually look like and i did not paid for this!
no house keeping, no bell captain, inexperienced stuff and very complicated i don't no for what !
I wouldn't recommend it for anybody. if you're looking to stay in this thing look more closely you'll find a 4 star hotel for
the same price

Google Bad Review 1:  I reserved this apartment months ago for a night I had booked with my partner in London.

A few days ago I got an email saying cozy apartment had cancelled my restervation and I will get a refund within 30 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats bad enough my trip to london is in 4/5 weeks time (23 April) so its left me really struggling to find another hotel that fits in within mu budget! everywhere else is more than double what I paid for the cozy apartment.

THIS HOTEL LEFT ME IN MAJOR PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!

Now I have spent the last 2 days searching for a hotel for with vacancies for a good price when this cosy hotel pops up as available!!!!!!!! But is £1037 for 1 night.. this is almost 10 times what I had paid previously.

PURE GREED!

I hope this hotel goes out of business!.. Disgusting behaviour

Google Bad Review (2):  The place is good to stay in general, but they let me a flat and then were doing interior in another flat below me. It used to start at morning 7 AM. I couldn’t sleep during entire stay of 2 months. Highly unprofessional management. The substitute flat offered by them was way smaller in size, so I had to stay in earlier one only and suffer. They say they had no control over construction of gym but they had control over whether to let this particular flat for rent or not. They chose to let it and let customer suffer and not sleep.
I asked them to provide another flat of similar size but they couldn’t.
The internet connection is also very poor and keep disconnecting.
