I had a very bad experience from start to finish with Tapi Catford. I don't want to go into forensic details on what happened, but in summary – the main problem is that they use subcontractors to fit their flooring and these workers are very poor quality and unprofessional.

I needed vinyl in my kitchen and bathroom. It was fitted twice, due to errors and I had so many problems along the way. Customer service was shocking. I must have called them well over 30+ times. It was very stressful and I am still not happy with the final product, but have no energy left to fight them on it.

The first two workers couldn't speak english, tried to overcharge me, did a very poor job of laying the flooring and the whole job needed relaying.

The second two workers did a better job, but still not great and did not finish all the job in one go. They were sacked by the company before finishing it.

The third fitter came and was shocked at the standard of the work and pointed out all the areas he would have done it differently. I am now left with vinyl flooring laid on top of vinyl flooring, which I was told was not the correct way to do it.

Head office was no better. I called to complain and they said they would investigate and still waiting on a call back weeks later.

Honestly, do yourself a favour and save lots of heartache by avoiding them! They don't seem to care about reputation, standards or customer experience at all.
