Google Bad Review: We have had a very bad and stressful experience with Medivet Greenwich. Our puppy started having stomach issues when he was 7 months old and, after months of paying expensive fees for various pointless treatments, his condition did not improve. During this time he was passed from one vet to another. They rush through every appointment, do not return calls/emails and do not keep track of past visits or treatments they have given. They also did not keep track of all the payments we made, meaning we found it very difficult to claim costs back from the insurance company.
The last straw for us came when they tried to get us to pay over £2000 for a surgical procedure that another vet told us was completely unnecessary – very worrying!
After this, we took him to a vet at a different practice who gave him the proper care, attention and treatment – his condition started to improve within days and he is now completely healthy.
It can be difficult to find a vet with availability at the moment but we would really urge you not to use Medivet Greenwich and to travel a bit further instead. We just wish we did this sooner to avoid putting our dog through months of unnecessary suffering.
I'm sure the vets care about the animals they treat and everything may go smoothly if all you need is a check-up or routine appointment, but the frantic way in which this practice is run and managed results in the animals receiving a poor standard of care/treatment and customers receiving an awful level of service.
