Google Bad Review:  Other than the initial process of appointments and finding an apartment, the service received from Gordon & Co was disgusting, to say the least. I could write a book as to how bad they were, but the tip of the iceberg came when they tried to rob us of £222 from our initial deposit by adding unfounded expenses (relating to repairs which we requested on numerous occasions upon our arrival) onto our “bill”. 38 days later and 37 emails back and forth discussing the validity of these costs, they eventually conceded a portion of it. We were still held liable for something that was clearly allowed in the signed contract, yet Gordon & Co insisted that if we disagree we should take it up with TDS. This is a lengthy process that no one wants to endure and therefore through bullying they received their extra £150. This £150 is based only on a quote and we will not be surprised if that money goes straight into the pocket of the company, who was never available to take our calls and who rarely returned any calls. When offering to visit their offices to discuss and resolve the matter, there was always an excuse as to why this is not possible.

Throughout the tenancy when we required repairs in the apartment, it was always a hassle and a delay before anything was done about it. For example, the carpets were beyond filthy when we moved in but they refused to have it cleaned and, to no surprise, when visiting the apartment to collect mail after we moved out we found that the carpets have been replaced (as they should have been years ago). This is the type of service you can expect, non-existing.

I would stay away from this company no matter how good some of their apartments may be. It is not worth the effort and constant arguing for things to be done.

Frustrated, but relieved it is over.
