I wish I could give a no star. This review was long time coming. Booked my stay from there website, to stay with my son for almost a month. Paid £1360 of which I got a full refund back because after almost 2weeks of my stay it became very on safe for my son and myself, the sexual abuse/harassment/racial comments from the so called manager called Mr Paul and lack of staff training was beyond me. But I must say the few staff they had was very helpful. Mr Paul was that hotel manager from hell, it was like something you see in the movies. Very rude, condercending to women, strong black woman like me I don’t think he had come across in his life. Mr Paul felt the need to step into my room one day while the girls where cleaning and ordered me to leave the room or he would call the police, I was in my room because I wasn’t feeling too good on this day and they cleaners had asked me if the could clean the room, after days of no cleaning I asked them to go ahead, now the doors where left open but mr Paul insisted I must leave the room so the girls can clean. I walked him out of my room and taught him a lesson he would never forget. Mr Paul later apologized for his mental breakdown in front of his staff and on the way he handled the situation.
Yes its a budget no frills hotel but there are some basic safety and expectaions that comes from any hotel.
*No telephone or intercom, so anyone can ask for you and reception will send the person to your room without your knowledge.
*several occasions I had asked them not to send anyone to my room without my knowledge but the instructions wasn’t carried out
* once your guest mention your name the hand them the keys to your room.
*Rooms/bed sheets are cleaned every 4-5 days even when clearly there is a stain on the bed.
*internet never worked
I have been In different class or stars of hotel all over the world but this traveloge in Dahenham pls save your money and stay away.
Got my full refund and I was able to go to another. Hotel… The holiday in at newbery park( best place)
I have pictures and documentation just in case.
