Google Bad Review 1: Insensitive and irresponsible clinician.
Went for hip dip dermal fillers. Clinician skipped out the use of numbing injections, and as a result I experienced absolutely unbearable pain throughout the entire procedure. I also received no follow up or after care post appointment.
Upon treating me she only applied a single layer of numbing cream to the area. As the pain was quite bad, I asked if she could apply a bit more, but she refused. I had to take a few breaks throughout the procedure due to the pain being so severe, and during each break she made patronising comments like “the pain is in your head because you’re nervous” and “none of my other clients reacted this way”
I genuinely cannot emphasise HOW unbearable the pain was- and my pain threshold is high.
For reference, I had 140ml of fillers (70ml each side) injected using a cannula and no numbing injections. I could feel EVERYTHING she was doing from start to finish. I literally felt every ml of filler get injected into my body.
A day or two later, I messaged her asking for my before and after photos that she took on her phone,. She responded saying she would send them “soon” However, I have still not been sent my before and after photos, and it has been 6 months since the treatment.
She also stopped responding to my whatsapp and instagram messages for weeks at a time. I had a few queries regarding some unusual pain I was experiencing (and still experience to this day) and received no reply.
After being left in the dark for so long I had no idea what else to do but seek answers and advice from other clinicians that perform the same treatment. They were unable to advise me on her work specifically however empathised with what I was experiencing as a client.
When she did finally reply to me, she spoke to me with an attitude, was rude and made me feel like a burden for needing advice. She said she was not available for a follow up, despite the fact I was due for one, and proceeded to try and charge me £150 in order to arrange one with another clinician. As if the thousands of pounds I invested into the treatment did not cover this. As if it was not her responsibility to provide me this as part of the service. This was not even the bare minimum I could have expected from a responsible person.
Recently, I went to a new clinic for the same treatment and they injected my hips/buttocks with local anaesthetic AND applied lidocaine cream. This time around the treatment was pain free and I felt comfortable and relaxed. I brought up my previous experience with Huda clinic and how she did not use numbing injections, and they were shocked and angered by this as numbing injections are compulsory for this type of filler. The fact she did not carry out a compulsory part of the procedure makes me question what else she may have done irresponsibly.
I would highly recommend avoiding this clinic, as they do not prioritise your comfort or safety. Especially when it comes to body filler, I would not trust this clinician. If you want a clinician that is thorough at doing their job, and genuinely cares for their clients, go elsewhere. There are plenty other clinics out there that offer a much better experience for that much money.
I also would like to note that the fillers are still sore and cause me pain to this day (6 months later) I can only press down on them very lightly as they hurt to touch. When I go to the gym, or walk for long periods of time, they ache and feel very sore. As mentioned, I had more done by another clinician- those ones feel fine and everything is normal. The fillers I had done at Huda clinic have caused me long lasting pain and discomfort and I am considering dissolving them.
