My company's experience with Naail & Co has been a very disappointing one indeed.

When I first came into contact with the company I was excited at the promises made by Syed, the owner, to assist me in gaining control over my finances and helping me manage the cash flow within my business.

I was offered all the accounting services and financial reporting for a monthly package price and was excited to have someone knowledgeable in my business. However, in a few months, I realized I had been deceived.

I started requesting feedback, and my requests were not responded too. When I finally brought on someone new, they became aggressive and demanding money. When we requested our annual financials, we were given less than 72 hours to query, make changes and submit to HMRC. I was told – sign on the dotted line or we will not submit and no further changes will be made.

They had this information for 9 months and did nothing with it.

When requesting my VAT return information, it was ignored. When we expressed the need to just receive a vague figure, we were ignored. Again the report was received less than 72 hours before due and transactions that were not even in my business were in this report. I was then enlightened that Naail & Co's VAT advice from my previous return was unethical.

We decided to cancel services with Naail & Co and have been met with the most unprofessional behaviour. They demanded money that was never agreed too. When we offered a compromise, coming to half of their demands, we were ignored.

Their behaviour has been incredibly unethical and has now led me to be in a difficult situation in terms of my taxes. They have refused to provide me with my data or come to an agreement, and when mentioning legal action, Syed calming responded “That's what we have business insurance for”

In an initial meeting where Syed accused my previous accountants of unethical behavior, my bookkeeper asked what course of action do we have against them. Syed scoffed and said, “as soon as you sign the financials, we are no longer liable, the business owner has no course of action”

I was made promises to be provided financial assistance and instead I was met with someone who would only make promises and help me if I paid amounts that were never agreed too.

Any small business owner beware, they will direct debit you monthly, and not do any work and then request you pay 50% more of the agreed quotation at the end of a financial year after you have paid the full agreed amount and won't release any of your company information you have paid for until you pay the 50% more than was never agreed on.
