Google Bad Review:  They have obviously lost my glasses that went in to be repaired about 7 months ago. I was told they were no able to repair them, when I asked for the same broken pair to be sent back to me, to my new address they never did. It's been over 2 months since I first asked for them to be sent to me. They have repeatedly promised to call me back and email me, but they have never gotten back to any of my messages. They are now not answering my calls. I wish I had never taken my glasses here. They were really expensive and I struggle to see without them.

Google Bad Review:  Dr Aziz performed an upper blepharoplasty and almond eye surgery (canthopexy) for me. I had excess skin on my eyelids that I wanted to get rid of. I also wanted to improve my eye shape as I had some lower eyelid retraction. After doing some research online, I came across Dr Aziz's page. I was sceptical at first because he only has 13 google reviews and they're all good. Nevertheless, I decided to give him a chance, and booked a free video consultation. He reassured me that my expectations for surgery could be met, so I shortly booked a face-to-face consultation with him.
My consultation was very short (just under 15 mins). I just stated what I wanted and he agreed. This was the first red flag I had missed. A good surgeon wouldn't simply agree with their patients – they will discuss ALL options, and the pros and cons of each procedure. He made me look into a mirror and proceeded to show me what change I could achieve. I was excited at the time because I've felt insecure about my eyes for a long time, and he was giving me hope. He offered to perform a canthopexy for me for free, in exchange for my pictures. I went home and thought about this, and eventually agreed.
The surgery itself was fine, but the aftercare could've been much better. One nurse came to me after my surgery to tell me how to take care of my eyes. However, nobody checked on me during my recovery. I believe this was the second red flag.
I contacted Dr Aziz around 4 weeks after my procedure, as I was very unhappy with my results. Though it was early days, it was obvious that the canthopexy was useless. My lower eyelids and canthus was not elevated as I expected. I still had eyelid retraction, in fact I believe the canthopexy made it worse. If you look on RealSelf, there are many surgeons who agree that this procedure can only bring minor changes, and that its too weak to fix rounding lower eyelids/sclera show. Moreover, some surgeons argue that this procedure can cause the lower eyelids to round even more, if the patient has a negative vector (lack of support under the eyes). In addition, I was unsure if Dr Aziz removed enough skin from my upper eyelids – but I decided to wait a few more weeks before making a judgement.
I had a post-op appointment with Dr Aziz at 6 weeks. I was questioning him as to why he did not inform me about other procedures like a spacer graft, cheek lift and canthoplasty to fix my lower eyelids, since canthopexy is a weak procedure. He just started going on and on about how great I look, and was behaving extremely pessimistic while discussing the other surgeries. I felt really uncomfortable and manipulated because it was like he was trying to make me feel happy with my current results, rather than giving me an objective opinion. After my appointment, he wrote a patient report for me and altered what I had said. I clearly told him that I was dissatisfied with both of my eyes. Yet, he chose not to listen. Red flag number 3.
I'm now just over 3 months post-op and I'm still very upset. I had my 2nd post-op appointment with Dr Aziz, and he's still so delusional. He was just bombarding me with compliments and telling me how his colleagues think I look good, and even stated that a man wants to book with him after showing my pictures to him. I'm sitting in front of him, unhappy, as he's telling me how he's profiting from my pictures!
I'm very sure he didn't tell these people my concerns or he may have photoshopped my pictures. Even my family and friends can understand why I'm upset. Pure narcissism. I just left him to ramble on. Everything is a learning lesson. Overall, I'm so happy I didn't pay for the canthopexy and can now find a better qualified surgeon who will listen to me. Two surgeons have already advised me to get a brow lift, as I still cannot wear eyeliner. Dr Aziz did not offer me a bespoke treatment because he does not pay attention to detail. I now believe that he only offered to perform the canthopexy for me without charge because he wanted my pictures – he has only a few post-op surgeries on his social media and website.

Google Bad Review 1:  My mother had her cataracts removed here. While the staff were friendly the wait times are just ridiculous. During one appointment we had a wait time of four hours. My mother is diabetic and they offered no food or water. She had to call me in the end so I could bring her food as she was starting to feel sick. Then for her last checkup we had two appointments and while waiting for the optometrist we had to wait for over an hour and a half. No matter how good they are the excessive wait times are not acceptable.

To stress this was NOT the day of her surgery but the follow up appointment post surgery. In total we waited over 3 1/3 hours just for her post checkup. That’s even longer than surgery.

Google Bad Review (2):  So many happy patients, but we cannot be so happy, will display only dry facts. My mum was sorted with an eye surgery appointment, forced to self isolate for 10 days before the surgery, she was fully vaccinated (COVID)
especially staff after work activity like pubbing.
But it is ok, my mum hensley stayed at home for self isolating.
Today just two hours before appointment did get phone call from clinic, where inform my mum that for same reason appointment is canceled and rescheduled to other date and she need self isolate for another next 10 days. That causes work interruption and losses , huge mental stress that causes deep depression. How is it? What is madness? Maybe mockery? Plus surgery was deleted at an unknown time.
Nice,especially staff after work activities like pubbing.

Google Bad Review 1:  Visited their dermatology clinic, very unorganized waited over an hour to be seen. Could also hear staff being loud using disturbing profanity absolutely atrocious I have never been to a place in my life and felt very uncomfortable. I had high expectations being in harley st as a private clientele this sort of behaviour is not acceptable. Very rude lady sat at the front desk asked her numerously how long was the wait; continued making false promises that i would get seen in a few moments this led to a wait time of 1hour and 45mins. I am distraught from this experience and will probably never return to Harley Street thanks to these individuals.
