Google Bad Review 1:  £120 for a diagnostics check is a robbery!
Places bigger and better, like French car specialists in North London are charging £60 for diagnostics.
I only went here because it was local and claimed to be specialist in Peugeot cars.
When gearbox is faulty and as it happens is not repairable and the car because of it needs to be dumped (spending £2,500 on a reconditioned gearbox would be silly) and so what is the point of checking and highlighting other faults on the car? Kept the car for nearly 2 weeks as well.
Billing me triple the above amount for a car that is no good to me.
Should have charged 60 odd quid and advised me the gearbox needs changing and should have stressed that there is no point in even trying to fix it.
A very dissatisfied customer!

Google Bad Review 1:  Caused damage to my rim and was not able to remove my locking wheel nut. After i called him and asked him to pay for the damage he had caused to my alloy and he laughed down the phone and told me to go away. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! He can not remove locking wheel nuts properly but advertises this as his service. He will cause damage to your alloy and then claim it is “minor scratches” these are not minor scratches these are big deep scrapes in my alloy. Do not use this man.

To be honest I am new driver and I feel later that they overcharged me I paid 535 pounds except full service, and my car gearbox broken due to less oil in it which not checked properly I presum. Even to change 4 plugs I paid near 100 pounds and later I realised that it’s not that much expensive than I charged. This place only good for general service but not rest of things. Too expensive

Dear Sir/Madam,with due respect,It is stated that I booked an appointment for all free checks on 01 june 2017 01.30 p.m at halfords autocentre chadwel heath.
When I droped the car,the sales person LOYDS wasnt in a good mood as it was a summer day after seeing that the car is booked for free checks.My question is why have u advertised on your website the free checks offer?
He told me to leave the car with him and he will phone me late afternoon for update.I myself phoned him at 04.30 p.m but no one picked up the call.So I went there at 05.00 p.m as store closes at 06.00 p.m,firstly he didnt recognize me.Then I said to him i left the car with you he said `o we were so busy we couldnt got time to check.I said to him you have wasted all my day as i am a mini cabdriver and lost almost £100.He said to me its only free checks.It will be ready in 10 minutes.My question is what is the point of making an appointment before hand in this busy city when no one has time.and if it was a 10 minutes job then why didnt he do it there and then?so I could have saved my day for my daily earning.I waited there at 6.15 p.m and the car handed over to me after waisting my whole day.Kindly remove the free checks offer if no one is willing to entertain and welcome us.

Google Bad Review 1:  Need to be reported to watchdogs…. booked a diagnostics test as i believe i got problem with suspension, got to the brunch early morning for the guy in the reception try to tell me nothing can be done the day even tho it was confirmed, after complaining they magically could book me in, took my car for the whole day, before leaving I said to them drive the car around hump roads and you will hear the noise

when i arrived at the end of the day they said they drove the car and done checks under and can see no problem, i have dash cam evidence that no checks where done at all, apart from moving my car to a different spot and going back and forth 3 times … is this what you pay to get done? and to make things worst there was no paper works for the checks done (because nothing was done) …. save your £49.99 and go somewhere else. Wasted my whole day .

To be honest I am new driver and I feel later that they overcharged me I paid 535 pounds except full service, and my car gearbox broken due to less oil in it which not checked properly I presum. Even to change 4 plugs I paid near 100 pounds and later I realised that it’s not that much expensive than I charged. This place only good for general service but not rest of things. Too expensive

Dear Sir/Madam,with due respect,It is stated that I booked an appointment for all free checks on 01 june 2017 01.30 p.m at halfords autocentre chadwel heath.
When I droped the car,the sales person LOYDS wasnt in a good mood as it was a summer day after seeing that the car is booked for free checks.My question is why have u advertised on your website the free checks offer?
He told me to leave the car with him and he will phone me late afternoon for update.I myself phoned him at 04.30 p.m but no one picked up the call.So I went there at 05.00 p.m as store closes at 06.00 p.m,firstly he didnt recognize me.Then I said to him i left the car with you he said `o we were so busy we couldnt got time to check.I said to him you have wasted all my day as i am a mini cabdriver and lost almost £100.He said to me its only free checks.It will be ready in 10 minutes.My question is what is the point of making an appointment before hand in this busy city when no one has time.and if it was a 10 minutes job then why didnt he do it there and then?so I could have saved my day for my daily earning.I waited there at 6.15 p.m and the car handed over to me after waisting my whole day.Kindly remove the free checks offer if no one is willing to entertain and welcome us.

Google Bad Review 1:  We're to start. I used these guys for the first time as my usual garage was busy. I wish I never did. Was quoted 90 for work but they decided to charge me 110 once work was done. On inspection my wheels were damaged but in there defence they paid me 140 for the wheel damage. I noticed a broken gasket which I pointed out to them but was told it's fine as it's not leaking. 1 month down the line back in my usual garage replacing a leaking gasket caused by HiQ from both the turbo to manifold side and turbo to downpipe side. On top of this they just cut two edges of the downpipe gasket so the could just slide it in instead of taking off the turbo and mani. The turbo gasket was was poorly put on and had a 1 inch gap from the bottom side making me lose all boost pressure on a 400bhp custom mapped skyline this plays hell on ecu and trubo.Lazy and cowboyish imo will never use again in my life.

Google Bad Review (2):  I went to this HiQ to install a new crankshaft. This cost me £90 labour. As I had already bought the part, I guess this wasn't enough money for them so they rang me, said as they were putting the new serpentine belt on the power steering pulley had cracked and I needed to get a new genuine one from.BMW which they had ordered already, this will cost you 70£ and 50£ labour cost on top of the 90£ I already gave them. I argued with them back and fourth and we came to an agreement of £40. When I went to pick up the car it was leaking coolant I found the clip that was taken out and made them put it back in and top it up. The car was also making a weird noise, the man goes I think its the alternator that would cost you £90 not including labour, I said leave it, Its obvious whats happened here they couldn't make enough money off breaking my power steering pulley so they broke the alternator hoping I would pay for that too. A week later the Idler pulley attached to the alternator snapped off. This is metal Snapping off…. BE VERY CAREFUL. They'll fix what you came in for and break something else intentionally so you come back. No Idea how they are getting away with it, read the other bad reviews they are similar. Disgusting.

Google Bad Review 1:  Halford Management can you bring back the old Manager at your Barking Centre as I was very disappointed with the new Manager Abdul, as he lied to me and tried to over sale things that didn't needed without looking at the vehicle and telling me he had been in trade for past 20 years and also worked at kwifit.
I can tell you Abdul that kwifit will be very happy the day you left there company.
I have been coming to the Barking Centre for past 2 years and never had any issues with the other Asian Manager Bharat, I had my car check without any fuss or issues with him.
I am very much disappointed with this man called Abdul.
I would be grateful if you please take note of this issue as soon as possible.
