Google Bad Review (2):  Our visit to Bombay Dreams was a disaster from start to finish. A complete RIP OFF and to top it all off I was left with food poisoning and was vomiting into the early hours of the morning. Anybody who could call this food ‘fabulous punjabi food' has clearly never eaten a decent Indian meal. There is not one thing I can recommend about this venue. It is in a nothing more than a basement where you have to take what can only be described as a metal “fire exit stair case” not exactly great for a lady with heels. The decor is a cross between a 60's Diner and wedding hall seating. The service although attentive, was slow. It took 45 minutes to cook 2 simple dishes, even though there was only 6 other people in the restaurant at the time. This delayed service is an old trick used by restaurants in the hope that diners will order more drinks while they are forced to wait for their food. The waitress must have tried to sell us more drinks at least 4 times while we waited and were clearly embarrassed when I asked why the food was taking so long. There was absolutely no atmosphere in the restaurant, it dull and uncomfortably hot. When the food finally did arrive I was beyond hungry. There was only about half a chicken breast in the chicken main dish, and the taste was mediocre. The so called ‘King Prawn' curry didn't contain and King prawns at all. It had the smallest prawns I've ever seen and it tasted disgusting. All the portions were small including the nan and rice which was a joke at about three tablespoons of rice. The moment we finished the meal we both started feeling unwell. My partner had lots of yogurt afterward which seemed to help her. I however wasn't so lucky and started vomiting at around 12pm and spent the best part of 2 hours in the bathroom. I am indian myself, and have eaten in many good restaurants around NW London. Bombay Dreams however has been the worst experience of them all and I will never return. Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake instead of making your own.
